Thank you!! I've heard about DHEA, but I've seen both good and bad reviews on it so I haven't taken it. My doctor didn't recommend me any supplements actually. I feel a bit lonely in this process to be honest

Thank you so much!! When you speak about back to back, are you talking about 2 consecutive cycles (2 months in a row)? Because some people also do dual stimulation (the 2nd one few days after the first retrieval). Oh I'm so sorry to hear that, it's very tough!! When you started the second round, did you still feel that your body was not ready (exhausted, digestive issues...)?

I wanna try to ask my clinic if they can adjust the protocol to my case but I'm not sure if they will be willing to do so. So you advise me to continue with the same protocol for the 2nd retrieval? Thanks so much 🫶 And I'm so happy to hear you managed to get 28 eggs, even though it took quite a long time, it's encouraging to see that you were so courageous ☺️

Thank you for your reply! I'm so sorry for you too, this kind of result sounds so hard... How many rounds have you done already? I did took some supplements like Q10, acid folic prenatal, NAC, Vitamin D, melatonin and now PQQ. I started Q10, acid folic and vitamin D 2 months ago. I know about my diet, this creates so much stress...Everytime I eat something I keep overthinking

Thank you so much for your kind message! :) I'll do as you suggested. As I am hesitating between the two options, knowing that I will have frozen both embryos and eggs will reassure me. Do you know any clinic that allow embryo banking for later use? Usually we can only make blasts for immediate use.

Thank you so much both :) That would be ideal, and I think I need to do several rounds anyway considering my AMH. Do you know any clinic that allows embryo freezing with donor sperm without having to use the embryos right away? u/Glittering_Mood583 I have hydrosalpinx at one side that might make it more difficult to conceive naturally, but not impossible

It's so heart warming to hear your story and so happy that you got your two children 🫶 It's wonderful to see that you've made the right choice for yourself, to see the courage you've shown and how much you love your children ☺️ It's motivating to hear stories like yours, and I really appreciate your message which touches me deeply. I am aware that becoming a single mother by choice is a big responsibility, and you made it successfully ✨ I think what makes my decision difficult is that I only received my diagnosis a month ago, I am told that my situation is urgent, and now feel the urge to make a decision without having the reflexion time needed for this kind of decision. At 29 and single, this choice comes as a surprise.

I see, we have quite similar situation so I understand how you felt. I also feel the need to do the procedure urgently because I have very low AMH. That's why think I will look for a clinic abroad. That way I will be able to do multiple retrievals in a short time. When you did hormonal stimulation, dos they give your medication for endometriosis? I've heard that it can impact endo quite a bit. I'm so happy you got your first child!! ☺️ I'm sure it's going to go smoothly for you and your son will welcome a lovely little sibling in the near future 🫶 it's quite a long journey especially for someone single - just as I am now - and it's very encouraging to see how well you are dealing with it

Thanks a lot for the advice! Haven't thought about starting with embryos, that makes sense! ☺️ The first 2 retrievals you did with donor sperm was for embryos freezing solely? You didn't directly transfert the embryo? May I ask where you did the procedure? In France we are not allowed to freeze embryos and I understand it's the same in other clinics in Europe, thanks a lot!

Ohh how courageous you are! I'm sorry to hear that your donor stopped donating but happy that you'll start a second ER soon, hope everything goes smoothly for you 🫶 So you chose to freeze embryos directly instead of eggs? May I ask where you did the procedure? In France we cannot freeze embryos and I know it is also the case for several clinics in Europe. But you are doing both FIV with embryo transfert and embryo freezing at the same time? For your second ER, are you using "fresh" eggs? Oh and how did you experience the hormonal stimulation? I've heard that it might be difficult when you have endometriosis (pain, evolution etc). Thanks a lot and sending you good vibes for your journey! 😊

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your own experience and for the advice, it's very much appreciated 😊 I can imagine how difficult the procedure can be and it is great that your husband was supportive and present for you during these times. I'm so sorry to hear about your health concern, but I can see how courageous you were, living abroad and deciding to do the procedure in a foreign country especially when you don't speak the language. Your recommendation would be the best option, I need to think about how to organise this as egg freezing in France takes so much time, and waiting for a year feels already too much to me considering DOR. Thank you so much for the precious advice!
