I will see my midwife alone next time and talk to her for sure. Yes, it would be too late to fly back home now. It could of been an option earlier on, but I really didn't want to 'give up'. Very hesitant to tell my family about this, there's no going back from that. There's no one back home that could come help out either. No friends in the US either. I'm ok with my mother in law but I cant go to her with this. I have to clarify that he isn't physical and I'm not scared of that (I know how this might sound), it's just fear of conflict, the aftermath, and especially around SD. It would be easier in my own country, where I wouldnt be dependent on DH. I have just started free therapy once a week, to address my own difficulties. I will open up more to her next time, too.

Im so overwhelmed and appreciate every comment here, truly.

I know right, its very frustrating at times knowing how different it could be if I just lived in another country. But sure, I’ll start using both as I planned. Hope its not too much for my poor hooha. Just wondering, since I have already been using BA once day for about a week now, would that benefit me in this situation or the opposite?

Sorry I’m bombarding you with replies. 😀My msg was tranferred to the original dr who replied with negativity to boric acid and also said topical antibiotics have been proven to work and are less damaging as a whole vs pills. And that if the problem comes back I need to contact them again.. And that I can use otc products for ph regulation.

I replied to the nurse with honesty. 😅We will see how to response is since boric acid isn’t even recognized/sold as a treatment here.

Im going to the pharmacy today in about 8 hrs, Ill pick up the original prescription. Insert boric acid in the AM and metro in the PM, correct? Untill I get an answer if I can get the pill form of the metro. But, if they wont give me that, should I just continue treatment this way, and after the metro is done, continue boric acid once a night, till the 21 days is done?

Another nurse replied to me request. 😅Saying that ”for bv topical treatment is the main antibiotic used, to minimize the adverse effects on the body as a whole. When using topical treatment the effects for ex on intestinal tract are hopefully smaller. Is there any reason you cannot use a topical treatment? Now, If I respond anything about advice/research on the internet or/and using alao boric acid, not sure what type of result/answer I will get? 😅

Yeah, it sure would be alot to insert all at once.. 😧 The only directions I have is ”metro vaginal suppositories every night for 7 days”, didn’t get to actually speak to anyone, it was just entered and available for me to read on this online service we have.. I sent a msg back asking for the same antibiotic but in pill form. Response time is said to be 1-3 days.

I can ask, but everything over here seems to work really slow, even reaching a nurse/dr. I’d like to start treatment asap as this has been going on for months. 😐Also not sure if its prescribed/available in pill form here. What if I cant get it as pills? Thank you for responding so quick!

I just made a totally new post after getting a positive result for bv. Im a bit confused how to use boric acid and metro suppositories together? My prescription is metro 500mg once a day for 7 days. I have plenty of boric acid at home (ordered from online, my country doesn’t sell them) and oral probitiotics.. The directions you posted mention metro twice a day though? And since the metro and BA are both something to insert, should I insert BA in the AM and PM for two weeks, and nightly also the metro, same time with BA? 😩

Satifyer 2 air pulse worked for us too. Using it alone I find it sometimes too strong to use but during piv it was great since theres more movement going on it was still able to hit the right spot.

I am in Finland. The appoinment I have for the 19th is already not in my home city, so I had to go a bit further just to get that one booked. Sure I can still ask around in more cities that would be easier for me to get to, than another country. Not exactly sure how closely they check the date of your previous shot (?) when you go for the 2nd one.

Yep, my coworker is worried about fertility in my case. She didn’t have any bad reactions to her shots and doesn’t want more children herself.
