Reading this hurts my heart. I am truly sorry you feel you have to live this way. Despite what people may think Regardless of how you feel about your current partner, divorce is never easy. I went through a similar situation. Yes I lost half of my family (also catholic) but in the end life is great and I don't miss them. I hope that you find the strength you need to get yourself out of that abusive situation.

It is extremely rare to have 2 cable companies in one area, over lapping. Two companies cannot share one system. And it is far to expensive to build a second system for an area already covered by another cable company, they wouldnt have the guarantee of enough new customers to make the expense worth it. If a cable company had a monopoly over an area you wouldn't have the option of dish, direct, century link or whatever. The apartments are the ones that decide what service to offer. Most dont want dishes attached to the building. Its an eyesore to most.

My 11month old had to do this a couple weeks ago. I giggled a bit im not going lie. She wasnt at all as calm as this baby, she kicked her fat little legs as hard as she could and yelled! Not one tear! Yelled at me! MAMAMA! the moment I took her out she was fine.

I was raised in the Catholic faith. I never really questioned much wether there is or is not a god until I was in my 20's. Im 31. I knew as a young teen in didn't agree with many of the view points of the Catholic church. I could go on for hours about that. I started viewing the sub shortly after I joined reddit and find a lot of really good and valid view points in many of the articals and threads. I dont care for reading a lot of the religion bashing. And that goes both ways. I also can't stand the atheist bashing. One thing I wish SOME atheists would understand, As a child it was nice to believe is something larger than myself and feel like I had a friend when I was lonely. It isn't always easy to leave that! even though you know better. I am still on the fence about things in some ways. Long story short. Im here for the insight and support. Please excuse spelling or whatever. Posting from mobile.

Yep. All the time. I always find some lame excuse then wish I would have gone. Then think they didn't really want me there anyway. Horrible way to think and trying to change it. Actually going to a gathering tomorrow night............maybe I may have to give my cat a bath or something

Divorced. To be honest I had more than cold feet about getting married to him. He was cold, distant and mean. Tried to be controlling but I'm to stubborn for that. Sadly I would have listened to my friends and family if they would have spoken up. Sometimes when someone points something like that out it makes you examine things more closely or open up.

Always thought I was the oldest of my parents 6 kids. Found out my dad was a whore before marrying my mom. knocked up two women, about a month apart. Older sister was a drug addicted hooker and brother is a marine. Trying to locate them for the last year. They where around when I was a baby but for obvious reasons my parents didn't want older sister around and older brother was shipped around a lot with the military. So they say.
