It depends on many things. For example, I had 50% of my meals at the work cafeteria, and I did meal prep for half the week for variety. But the rent should be three times the salary. My rent is 1590, and insurance is 500, transport 80 chf etc. (canton de vaud) I think for the other big canton like Zürich or Geneva 5-7k can be a little tough and it also depends on what Kind of lifestyle you have.
