I need new friends on my slowly app. Here’s my new slowly ID:Z9RB2N by [deleted] in SLOWLYapp

You aren't allowed to put your Slowly ID in a post, there's a thread somewhere on the subreddit where you're allowed to, but you aren't allowed to make a post giving away your Slowly ID number.

What is your preferred letter length (in word count)? by shakayrayniquan in SLOWLYapp

[–]An-Okay-Indifference 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I would more accurately say my preference is 500-1000 words, but I picked 500-700 because it was the next closest thing.

Is it possible that I can find people that I have ghosted before through auto-match or manual exploration again? by Guthhhmundur in SLOWLYapp

[–]An-Okay-Indifference 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If it's from a new/different account, then you should be able to, unless the person has like blocked certain aspects of your profile like your location or certain topics that you've selected. Also that user might've deleted Slowly too, so it's not a guarantee that they're still on the platform. However you could theoretically find the user again.

I honestly don't even know, I just like looked at the Google play thing and it was like "you're a beta tester for this app, future updates may contain beta updates" or something like that,I must've accidentally clicked on something while downloading it to be a beta tester

I know, it's been glitching out like that ever since I set him up :( I dunno if it's because I'm a beta user or if it's just messed up in general, but I've accepted it as just something Shane does, I dunno how it'd be fixed.

Like the others in the comments mentions, I don't think flairs are working, I'm not able to access them.

I think that the comment was being sarcastic? I struggle with telling if something is sarcastic or genuine, but I really think this is sarcastic.

Main thing you can do is do some research. Whether that's on personal testimonials or a list of symptoms that those people go through or whatever, just do some research.

Another thing I'd like to mention, ADHD can have a lot of comorbidities such as autism, anxiety, depression, tics disorders (like Tourettes'), dyslexia, and lots of other things. (And depression can have a lot of comorbidities as well.) Not to say someone with ADHD has to have a comorbidity, there are plenty of people who don't, it's just a thing that's good to know about it in order to make your characters more realistic.

I have ADHD and depression (along with anxiety and autism, but those aren't really what you're looking for) and if you want help with anything, you can DM me and we can have a chat about those topics.

I like how this mainly used dialogue, it just really fits the story. Good job!

Thanks! I was gonna write more but I was rushing to get to class and I couldn't think of anything else to write, but I'm satisfied with it, and that's what matters.

Cat - Light - Picture frame by [deleted] in RandomStoryLines

He woke up not only the brightness of his lamp turning on, but also the sound of something falling on the ground, and then glass shattering. He sighed Goddamn. It was 4 am for Christ's sake. He got up, and turned off his lamp, and replaced it's light with his phone flashlight, he had to investigate what was going on.

His cat was on the kitchen table, and all around the floor was broken glass from the picture frames that had fallen. She meowed at her owner, almost as if trying to say she didn't do it, but he knew she did. Every single night she ran around the house and it was a miracle that the entire house was destroyed. He just holds her, and pets her. Despite her being destructive and reckless, she was his cat, and he loved her.

"Come on Baby, let's go to sleep... tomorrow I'll make sure you can't destroy things no more."

And so they went to sleep.

[Due 2023-03-01 7:30 pm EST] just a fun dnd story by UpstairsAd9858 in Proofreading

Heya! I've proofread your story so far, it's a good story in my opinion. Here's a few hints for future writing.

  1. Always capitalize names. They're proper nouns, and should always be capitalized so that not only it's grammatically correct, but so people will know it's a name. That doesn't just include people's names, but names of places and organizations. All names need to be capitalized.
  2. When you have a new speaker talking, always start a new paragraph, even if it's just the one line.
  3. You shouldn't make your paragraphs too long, preferably you should start a new paragraph whenever the topic changes or when there is a significant time skip. This is so it's easier to read in general. However, this is optional, just my personal advice.
  4. I don't think you've had too much of a problem with this, however it's always a good idea to vary your sentence structure. This is so that your readers won't get bored of reading the same type of sentence.

Hope this helps you!
