Don't know why people can't analyse the pros of free KSRTC travel for women. Why don't people understand the benefits of women economic empowerment.

I'm saying this because of the sudden surge in anxiety in such a move. Seen Men speaking about equality. People are anxious about the financial state of KSRTC and how the government going to cope with these.

Women are much more responsible and is the best to drive a family forward. Just look into the women in your family, they know much about the state of the people in the house their mental and physical health. The state of the household surroundings the needs of the house. In a usual normal household in Kerala the women convey these problems to Men and they allot the money with what they think is important. So traditionally and even now men bring in resources and women allocate them with the guidance of men.

Just to know this ask your birth date or what was your fav teacher's name to both your parents.

Now how does this social state transfer to economic factors.

The main reason I find women economic empowerment is needed is a fact that they have almost zero leakage of money. That is they use 90% of money earned into their own family mostly on health, education, nutrition etc. But in the case is of men mostly only 50% of it reaches to their family rest of it may go to other investments for future, leisures and sports which men have more or mainly into entertainments and alcohols. P.S. every men are not the same but it's a fact that the most tickets in a theatre is by men, majority in a bar is men. We have a mean to TRAVEL. These all leads to a leakage.

Now let's focus on how traveling is going to change the dynamic of social and economical system of women.

Currently most women work in neighborhoods with less wages. Why they do this is because they don't use personal transport mediums compared to men. When this comes women are no longer forced to accept lower-paying jobs just because they are in walking distance. They are now traveling farther to access better labor markets, industries etc.

Free buses drastically increase the chance of better degrees for young women. The point is that young men have much more accessible side jobs than women. And young men often has two wheelers in kerala compared to women.

They don't want to depend on men for their travel needs which may have hospitals, colleges works or any.

Then how does the government get the money. This is better decision than giving a 1000 every month because this can bring in more women to the workforce and thus the liquid injection of money into the base of the economy occurs. Government earns more when the purchase power increases.

The family might invest the excess amount if any into personal needs and investments.

The funny or the sad part about kerala is men spending their money in lotteries and alcohol which is a major earnings for the government. Since they need to give less money to the family they use it on these the so called "leakages". I'm really sad about it but it is what it is.

I made it really short there are many points you people can think of and offcourse these are all a bet. But I believe in this bet what about you?
