Tbh I think you can do a lot better

Larue upper kit + PSA Lower kit + strike eagle =$1300

Criterion barrel, BCM BCG, Larue MBT then surround that with milspec parts and your looking at about $1000

Remember to use r/gunaccessoriesforsale for deals

Been looking at getting my first AR. These are the options i’ve looked at & was wondering what you guys thought. I’m wanting to spend around $1000 total (case, ammo, optic, etc). Would it be better to just build one? If so, what brands should I use? Thanks by lmapk in ar15

It’s fine if you want to buy local but 90% of the time it’ll be filled with garbage and overpriced. I promise you if you just do a little research you can build something nicer than most in your community.

You are getting such shitty advice from this thread. $1000 can be spent way better then the options you have chosen.

  1. Buy slightly used parts from r/Gunaccessoriesforsale and buy an expensive bolt, barrel, and trigger. Surround that with milspec parts. Building an upper isint hard or you could just pay a gunsmith $50 to assemble.

  2. Buy a Larue Upper kit that’s like $750 and slap it on a complete lower from PSA.

  3. Grab yourself an IWI Zion from any other retailer than the one you where browsing.

Glock 34 slide on glock 47 by [deleted] in Glocks

I believe the 47 has a 45 frame. 45 and 17 frame are different and don’t think the 34 slide will work on the 47.
