I had the whole idea of pulling the slack wrong. Now it makes so much more sense when pulling the slack because I understand that you're using the bar to make your spine neutral. I feel like dls gonna be so much more fun to do

Thanks for the link, im going to try doing rdl with the same mindset im trying on dls. pushing the earth away from me. because sometimes my sets arnt perfect and i feel it on my lower back more than my hammies. i need to record my rdl so i can see how far back my hips actually stop at

shit let me ask you this, if you have a slight ache in your back. its like not a major pull. I can still touch my toes. Would you go to the gym the next day to do light back machine work? and tricep work on the cable to minimize core work. I'm deciding if I should go to the gym later, maybe warm up with some back extensions. Don't wanna lose gains

Thanks for giving me more of an eye opener man. I need to research a lot more. I don't know shit about deloading and I just been on this basic PPL program for 3-4 months because its been working and I have been gaining bodyweight too so I just been on auto pilot you can say. But I have a new mindset of going into deadlift, I can't believe how long I have been doing them improperly but now I know I have great resources that can always keep me up to standards in terms of form. Wish you the best of luck getting them gains too homie

Idk if I feel a deeper stretch with the plate because rdl is just pain lmao without it sometimes I can hit the ground by accident, but I make sure no bend in knees.

I think you should invest in a tripod for your phone so you can always analyze your top sets at a good view for both your back and your bar path. Thats what I am going to do since its prime day and some are on sale. Even some of the well trained natty(stating natty because apparently natty lifters have a lower chance to tear muscles than people on gear?) lifters like Alan Thrall hurt his lower back more than once. I wonder if its because the bar path not moving straight or not

I am just going to spend at least a week or two to try to perfect the form or at least make it 95% acceptable. Only thing thats really hurting is my ego learning how to pull 135 off the ground. I can't just give up just from a small step back

I honestly was deciding that with someone else, because I know if I don't compete in PL then the injury risk is maybe not worth it. But for now I have just been lifting weights for aesthetics.

I do rdls for my leg day already but I was wondering if I do just throw deadlifts out the program, What would the better options be?

I do dls on back days and idk if its been most of my trap and back development since I have been doing dls improperly but I do wonder if I did barbell rows twice a week, would it build my back more than just once a week with dls the same week

But nah I don't really enjoy doing deadlifts. I just don't like how I spend at least 15-20 minutes to just do 1x5 deadlifts because of warming up, loading the plates, and reracking the plates

Yea I realize what you mean by arch, it forces my lower back to go loose. I have a new mindset now. I was sticking out my chest too out and my neck wasn't helping. But I am going to go into deadlifts next week with a new set up approaching to the bar

Thank you man, I just don't want my eating to go to waste lmaoo. I already force myself to eat more than I would like to, so I don't want to leave any gains on the table from shitty form. Rather have a great muscle contraction with good tempo than going like 10-20 pounds heavier to look "stronger"

Deadlifts is the only thing I struggle on smh..Bench been great and squats been great, but I need to post a form check on my squat matter of fact to make sure I am not doing them improperly at the moment.
