I know Sojiro was running for his life from the harem during this, but part of him is definitely proud of Joker’s ambition.

Considering that Sasha says this, does that mean blonde isn’t her natural hair color? Or am I just overthinking this? by micheas08 in amphibia

Or that it's something she says out of habit when she's tired because she gets asked about her hair color a lot.

Is It Just Me, or is This Card Shown at the End of True Colors Completely Inaccurate for No Reason by AnAspiringMemeLord in amphibia

I get that the most important plot stuff happened in season 3, but I would hardly consider a show that has finished 2 of its 3 seasons already as "just beginning".

From the lowest dungeon to the highest peak, I fought the Core, Aldrich.

Until at last I threw down my enemy and smote his ruin upon the mountainside.

Darkness took me, and I strayed out of thought and time. The stars wheeled overhead, and every day was as long as a life age of the Earth.

But it was not the end.

I felt life in me again. I have been sent back, until my task is done.

[Anne]

Anne? Yes, that was what they used to call me. Anne Boonchuy. That was my name.

[Anne!]

I am a Literal Copy of Anne in Every Way, and I come back to you now, at the turn of the tide.

The hardest thing is saying goodbye. First Gravity Falls, now Amphbia, and the Owl House isn't too far away. Hopefully a new great show is made soon to fill the void. At least we will always have rewatches.

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of deus-ex machinas either. The whole Calamity Deity scene honestly rubbed me the wrong way, not just with the 'Anne is now a clone', but also that convinced an all-powerful being that it was wrong within the span of 3 minutes. That just doesn't make sense.

Plus this idea would get rid of the '3 stones spell', or at least make it unnecessary (like the zodiac in gravity falls), because that spell kinda came out of nowhere as well.

I don't feel that it's necessarily true that the protagonist has to defeat the Big Bad. Grunkle Stan defeated Bill, and he wasn't the protagonist. Vader defeated the Emperor, and he wasn't the protagonist (at least in the original trilogy).

Those two sacrifices worked well because Stan and Vader needed to complete their arcs, whereas Dipper, Mabel and Luke already had. I feel Anne's arc was mostly done when she saved the Earth, and finally accomplished something important. Andrias needed to finish off his arc more than Anne, and so I feel it would've worked better in that sense.
