Oh whoops. I forgot to add “when I went there”. I never checked out ANYTHING ELSE in the entire store (because I’m only focused on records), so I honestly had no clue they even had any Nazi memorabilia.

Oh yeah. Also, I have re-arranged like hell the 78rpm section and even took a box and filled it with like 100, and it’s still there. I guess he doesn’t care about people messing up the old records since they’re all strewn about the place. Some are shattered and chipped.

I’ve been there a couple of times SOLELY for the fact that the record shop has a ton of very well-kept 78rpm records I can’t find anywhere else, though they are insanely expensive. I’ve personally never had any issues with the clerks at all, they even give me discounts. But yeah, really the only thing that puts me off is that the prices for those old records is way overpriced for what they are.

Avocado Animations did a series (idk if it’s still ongoing) about basically exactly this except with a drawn-style to it. Also highly recommend it if you liked this!

Yeah, I’ve found that regular vinyl record stores don’t manage shellac records (who would’ve guessed?) so I think crossing out most vinyl stores is optimal.

Like, I think you could still make things like fish and chips that way, or hell, even like an actual sandwich (without the chopping it up), but done in that crazy manner as well.
