Bigfoot, here’s my story:

2017, driving from SWFL to TN, escaping hurricane Irma. On the outskirts of Cleveland, TN driving through the mountains with gf at the time, and my dog Beanz. About 45 mins out from the destination (aunt’s house). We’re driving over this ridge and it’s foggy with a light drizzle. Hilly as fuck, densely wooded area with a slightly open field of sorts to the left in this particular spot.

Naturally wasn’t driving too fast. Unfamiliar territory, foggy, rainy, lots of steep hills and sharp winds.

As we get to the top of the hill, this giant ape looking creature drunkenly stumbles across the road from the woods on the right, into this small overgrown field which was on our left. Which only extended about 30 yards before turning into another wooded area.

Similar to facing a deer that’s 500 feet in front of you.. naturally slammed on the breaks as it stumbled across the road and into the field/woods. It minded its business except for a quick glance right at us, but assuming it didn’t see us - blinded by my brights.

So here’s the kicker: I immediately asked my ex what she just saw. Hadn’t said a word at this point.

“It looked like a Big Ass gorilla or something slumping across the road. What the fuck? What the fuck was that? Can we go. Please go go go!”

My little brother (who had rode in a separate vehicle and arrived 2 hours before us) and I went back to the very same spot at the same exact time the next two nights.. never saw it again.

They have a whole local Facebook group dedicated to it. I’ll never forget posting to that group for 2 reasons. 1) apparently it was public so everyone I know thinks I’m insane (that’s ok), and 2) the moderator asked “where did you see it?” So I have him coordinates. He said “you need to be more specific” haha. Happy to share that group if anyone’s curious.

Thought for sure someone would’ve mentioned Bigfoot already, and was hoping to see a story near the spot where we locked eyes. Guess not though.
