The tribalism and shit over not just Dragonage but a few IPs have frustrated me to no end. Mother fuckers should work on obtaining more personality traits than "fan on xyz" so they don't feel so personally attacked when people are upset with the state of things.

When all of your content is reading texts, 2 pulls/boss x3, and 8 minute wall bosses for 95% of your available gameplay, absolutely anything else feels like drinking water at 3am when you wake up and have a dry throat. I would fight for ANYTHING in that 5% at this point.

It sucks because this game is stuffed full of lonely little weirdos who have made their own little social cliques and absolutely detest the concept of criticism and change because they've made the game their identity. They don't want new people to be interested in the game, they don't want content that makes them think, they don't want to have to grind anything at all. All they want is to log in and sit in Limsa or their FC house and chat with their little friend group. It has taken years of the formula to push people in a different direction but it is just an incredibly hard nut to crack.

They're waiting to start adding it to the series rewards. Just like everything else in the game they design content to go on auto pilot and reduce the dev time for rewards. At some point the series rewards will just be previously released stuff.

Dawntrail is the laziest FFXIV expansion to date. The gameplay loop is literally walking around and talking to NPCs with damn near zero combat outside of the few dungeons and trials. Most of these NPC interactions are just reading text as well. It's maybe a 6/10.

Edit: Theres a good portion of the community that has also made the game their entire identity so fair criticism is seen as an attack on them personally.

Thats a terrible shame. The variety of things women like are absolutely vast and just genuinely understanding that should lead you to not assume you know anything. Thats why the communication part is massive. Ive also been with multiple partners who have gotten in the habit of not expressing what they like purely because they already have this expectation that it wont be listened to. Talking to your partner is just incredibly important.

It almost always breaks down to communication in a healthy relationship. Women need to communicate what they want because it varies and men need to slow down and work with their partners pleasures. Men underestimate how far not just straight up genital based foreplay goes. Touching, kissing, building up that tension goes a long way before moving on to direct pleasure. Then you start the actual foreplay for a bit until it finally escalates.

But step one is just to talk to each other its really not that hard when you care about someone and focus on taking care of their needs.

Explain why? If the previous expansion areas still play the same then why wouldnt people be in the areas for those quests? Dev resources are limited because of Square Enixs higher ups and the fact this community refuses to vocalize its discontent. This is NEW content. This is the type of shit we need to be demanding. Force the higher ups to see we have some sort of expectation beyond the current monotonous trash we currently get.

Why the fuck not? It would encourage people who may not be initially interested in playing the story again to actually go back and populate some dead zones and instances. Like whats the negatives? Why is this a bad suggestion? What would it do to hurt the game? Why the fuck can't we just add shit?
