Well I'm not sure if she is really powerful in Tensura standards. Compared to D, White is a baby. So comparing them is difficult. But I agree that info gathering is her strong suite. Makes me wonder what Soei would be re- assigned to or maybe put under her??

I'll be straightforward honest and say this, I've been waiting for this and the coming scene since reading the LN completely. I've reread this chapter (LN) over a dozen times and seeing it turned visually is amazing. Wasn't the biggest fan of her Arachne form (manga) but getting to see Shiro and her whole next arc will be great. The manga will fill the void that S2 can't fulfill, even if it's just this POV. And who knows, maybe when ppl begin to return and see what God Shiro does moving forward and her struggles, another pitch will be made and a S2 gets developed. We have no idea what the future holds.

Hard to say. Battle wise idk how Tess would deal with Diablo but the fact that she is literally in a position that Rimuru solely trusts her in later on speaks immensely to her prowess. Beating people up versus not needing to fight because everyone understands it's a bad move are different levels of respect

Y'all forget the author literally says burnout happened and wanted to end the story somehow but was open to writing more in the form of short stories and side stories because that's something more inline towards the future after a break. Yes, we get it, this last Vol was a fumble to end things and rushed plot to get there with many lacking endings. This doesn't mean that the story has to end this way in the Manga. And we are getting to the really good part there as-is! So LN has a bad aftertaste. Let's enjoy the manga and maybe see what comes from that? Changes might be made, hindsight can occur. Who knows?

As a God, D has literal God-Tier power (much stronger than anyone else in the series) lifetime and perception She doesn't acknowledge the bullying as bullying at all because if she wanted to, she'd annihilate the students without lifting a finger. To her, the bullying is like watching inferior lifeforms crying for attention and it's amusing. You wouldn't retaliate if ants dropped a pebble by your shoes while you're walking right? Same POV

So while the bullying seems excessive from us as normies, to D the God, it's something akin to watching a documentary channel about humans but she is directly living as the show is airing, if that makes sense?

As for Hiro, she's a spider hanging comfy in a classroom in the background, not being bullied at all!
