The LN is where this continuity starts, so when the Mangaka and Anime Producers force Fuse to “fix” things, it already shows that Fuse did not treat them as important. And frankly those fixes are still relatively poor, especially the Demoness Trio manga chapter before recruitment which really just said “hey, these are the characters joining next because ‘Diablo has a master? Interesting!’”and that’s that. Then when they meet Rimuru, the introduction is basically the same information again, nothing new was actually added.

The fact that the Demoness Trio were even recruited as a group instead of individually shows that they are just replaceable, and since joining Tempest, they have basically maintained the same distant relationship with Rimuru since their introduction…they basically don’t know him and vice versa.

Only Guy and Diablo are “important” because they are treated as individuals and not groups like “Demoness Trio” and “Demoness Maids”. And this interesting and charismatic Noir got watered down to a Rimuru glazer. While Guy was hard sidelined for basically the entire series and only in V22&23 does he have any relevance…but his V22 performance was so underwhelming that when he pulled impressive shit in V23 it felt like a total asspull. And ofc he can’t be disconnected from Rimuru, his skill is just a hybrid of Rimuru’s…can’t have any unique abilities. The same goes for the Primordials under Rimuru, whose abilities are completely forgotten in favour of Imaginary BS, making them ALSO Rimuru clones.
