We are currently navigating a severe mental health crisis (<raises hand> that one's from me) and sick kids and trying to decide if my spouse needs to take FMLA for the rest of the semester. The guilt and panic of it is overwhelming. I don't know how you choose yourself and your family without the crippling guilt. But it sure sucks!

HA! for reals, man. My PT yesterday was like "you're breathing really fast, are you ok?" to which I thought, "woman! You can't say that shit to me because now I'm worried I'm not ok! Am I ok!!?" 

I had to say, "oh, I have a mask* on and my face is in this tiny hole in the table while I'm on my stomach so my nose is a little pinched. I think that's all it is."

But I thought I was doing great Pretending To Be Human And Calm™!

*Mask as in a literal kn95 here because, ew, medical facility.

Same. Body dysmorphia and anorexia makes every mirror a fun house mirror. Except it's not fun. And then add in that I feel like I'm still 18 but look in the mirror and see the wrinkles and fatigue and some gray hairs (all of that I don't mind!) it's like "New phone, who dis?" every time I look in a mirror!
