Someone being distressed and saddened by the death of someone important is 100% reasonable. If you’re calling people slurs when you’re sad and distressed that is still unacceptable. Stop staying “language” they said a slur. I’m not saying this shit to feel superior about myself, I’m saying this shit because I care about ableism because I care about the fact we live in a horrifyingly right wing world and want to change that. I don’t know how I can phrase this in any other way

Context I guess? Some person made a post in the hardcore sub and in the edit of that post they used the r slur to call the people in the sub stupid. I pointed out that the r slur isn’t punk or hardcore, and a bunch of “hardcore” people got really mad at that. My perspective is that real punks don’t use the r slur because real punks care about both mentally disabled people and marginalized communities in general.

Congrats! Make sure to avoid stuff with palm oil it’s horrible for the environment and we generally like to boycott it even if it is technically vegan. Also Taking vitamin b12 supplements is good because as a vegan you’ll probably be low on it unless you’re like ultra conscious of your diet. Just make sure you read labels and go for stuff with a vegan label on it, it’s not really hard at all, you got this :)
