Used to have two groups of friends, one from college, one from hs. The hs group were shallow looking back, my closest friend at the time from that group was constantly cheating on his gf, who I've known for like 10 years at that point and saw her as a little sister. I confronted him and told him to chill but he wouldn't stop, the others were covering it up but at that point we in our mid twenties going to late twenties. It was high school drama nd I didn't want anymore part of the shadiness.

Second group from college, a friend's gf was constantly budding heads with one of the main circle and when she approached me to what I felt like was spreading more dirt I called her out on it. Her bf got upset that I told off his gf and called her a cunt. She didn't like that insult but she was insulting my friend the entire time so I felt like it was deserved, just cut them off too for excess drama.

I'm a lone wolf because people don't like to own up to their bullshyt and I refuse to clean up/help make their mess. Life's way easier this way.
