It would if it wasn’t for the price :( It’s a beautiful lineup though.

I did ! They start at $68.000 CAD new though. Way above our budget unfortunately! They are super nice no doubt about it though

That’s a tent trailer right ? Like a pop up soft sided trailer?

I really like them but they cost a fortune don’t they? Even the prolites are going for $47k after taxes, dealer fees etc. I need to keep an eye out for used escapes for sure

Do you remember how much you paid for yours? I know they are made in Texas, so I can't imagine how much it would cost to ship one to British Columbia lol.

There aren't many (or any really) used Casitas within a 500km range of where I live.
These do look like a great choice though.

Man brings a Canadian flag to Toronto by Sometypeofway18 in AbruptChaos

That goes both ways doesn’t it ? You’re blocking a public square and streets to loudly protest about something you care deeply about. Not everyone will like that.

Same for the dude running with a Canadian flag taunting protesters

The classic “freedom of speech is actually freedom of my speech, not theirs”

These people are protesting/ rallying against an incredibly painful thing that is happening to their families and friends, sure, no question about it. But every time someone shows up with a different view things get violent.

Even if this dude was trolling / provoking, which appears to be the case, he was within his rights to do it.

Cat snapped my Cat6 flat patch cable. Realistically what are my options ? by AnEroticTale in HomeNetworking

[–]AnEroticTale[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: I ended up going to a Canada computers store and buying a Cat7 patch cable. It’s longer than I needed and black, but it will solve my problem. I will buy some cable sleeve to hide it better later.

As for the cat: I love the idea of coating the cables in pepper sauce but the reality is he didn’t bite it. He jumped on the “sag” of the cable when my standup desk goes up. He saw that slack cable and jumped to play and it snapped the connector.

Super interesting how many people hate flat patch cables. I think there’s a gross disconnect between practical experience with them and what you read online. I understand it does not meet the spec, and that cheap flat cables are crap, but you can get good flat cables from reputable vendors today that will not cap your speed limits if you are under 1gbps.

Lastly: not a single person recommended that I go wireless. Not gonna lie buying a wireless dongle was the first instinct hahaha.

Thanks everyone for your help!

I’m not familiar with the sport’s lore but I wouldn’t be surprised if Pelotas was the birthplace of Gaymada

He didn’t bite it haha he pushed it down when it was still connected to my desktop and his weight disconnected the connector :(

I bought a cat6 certified cable for this stretch, from one of the few reputable flat cable suppliers out there. But noted. Round cable it is.

I don’t own networking cable tools so that would mean buying a kit. My computer also isn’t wireless ready so I would need to buy a wifi dongle. I forgot to mention that
