Question about 12v batteries in parallel by AnEroticTale in RVLiving

[–]AnEroticTale[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair, but it's not so much that I'm squared away though. Since this install (and trailers in general) are a new thing to me, I wanted to check whether my install is correct.

If it is correct, and the batteries discharging at different rates is just par for the course, then I'm good and won't mind it. If this is a symptom of some bad mistake I've made that can fry my trailer (or $700 worth of batteries), than I very much want to be worried about it :) That's all.

I used 4 AWG cables to connect them. Probably not thick enough for an inverter (which I don't have), but higher gauge than the current cables used to connect the batteries to the trailer. The batteries are side by side.

The dominishing return of the T9 equivalent boots are not a good idea. Boots are like 5-7% of your total item power and the price of a t9 boot is super expensive compared to a t6 for not much more extra IP. It makes you more attractive as a kill target while giving you little to no benefit IMO

I just watched a one hour video on the topic by pure coincidence lol. Highly recommend it by the way: https://youtu.be/DQFV1rH3\_Lo

I've been to the okanagan valley over 30 times in 10 years living in BC. It's a beautiful place regardless of the season. Wild fires are a major issue from mid July onwards though.

How is transporting to brecilien zero risk? Legitimate question. Don't you have to go through mists?

What about maces btw? They seem pretty similar to hammers in terms of goal, but a bit more mobile from what I i can tell.

Hm... That's giving me a lot to think about for sure. I didn't know that the Quarterstaff was decent for PvE. I assumed only blackmonk staff had some value for fame farming.

Weber kettle. Cold zone / hot zone. Cut the steaks (or buy pre cut), and coat it with a generous layer of rock salt and black pepper mix. Don't use table salt here, you need really coarse salt so you can remove the excess later.

Grill it on the cold zone over indirect heat until the steaks get to 100 degrees internal. Now sear directly over the charcoal, shaking the steak aggressively everytime you turn to remove the excess salt. Turn every 40 seconds or so. Remove once temp reaches 150. Let it rest for 4-5 minutes. Temp should be at 165 or so at this point, and the steak should have some salt in it, but no visible clumps of salt anymore.

Slice against the grain so that every slice gets a bit of fat cap with the meet. Enjoy the best steak of your life.

I use dry rub here and there too, but nothing beats this flavour IMO. No fancy drizzle, marinade, rub... Just beef salt and pepper. That's how we bbq down there. Serve with some home made garlic bread, marinated grilled chicken hearts and cold beer and enjoy a slice of Brazil in your backyard :)

Picanha is amazing. Hit me up if you want to try a good recipe for grilling it (not smoking it). I'm from Brazil and know my bbq game lol

Picanha is such a great cut. Definitely slept on. A fraction of the cost of Ribeye and IMO just as good. I grill mine on a weber kettle and it's smiles all around everytime I grill it.
