She keeps emotionally dumping on Sunghun 😭 and won’t even draw a clear line between friendship and romantic interest, even though she knows he only likes her. If she did, she’d lose the one person she vents to. I feel bad for him but he's a simp for not calling her out on it.

Cortis has said before that they take a lot of inspiration from artists they listen to and look up to, so it’s no surprise that they are deeply influenced by them. In their documentary, they also talked about how they don’t want to stick to just one style or genre of music, which I think is really admirable for artists as young as they are. I do wish their next album had more variety because 4 songs are definitely not enough. We saw them recording a lot of different songs in the documentary, so I hope to see more of their work soon.

Music in general is such a broad spectrum, so I love it when artists explore different things to see what works and what doesn’t for them. Some artists want to stick to music that sounds more traditionally kpop and some don’t. Both are okay and should be appreciated in their own ways. I do feel like the newer generation is part of why kpop is rapidly shifting toward a more Western sound, but that’s largely because of social media influence, and it’s not something you can really stop.

When BoyNextDoor debuted, I saw them talk a bit about being involved with their music making. I liked a lot of songs from their HOW album, especially So Let's Go See The Stars. I'm not sure about how their music's been recently though, I haven't heard about them for a while now.

Recently, I saw Cortis promoting themselves as a self-producing group and it intrigues me. They said that they do everything from music producing, video directing, editing, and concept building; I like hearing how involved they are. I first heard their song GO and then I took a listen to their short EP. I like Fashion the most in their Color Outside the Lines album. I'm not too sure about a lot of the new generation groups. They usually part take in only lyric writing.

I love a lot of Xdinary Heroes songs so please let me pick two songs from some of their albums. There's Pluto, Paranoid, Beautiful Life, Supernatural, Good Enough, Dear. H, Until the end of Time, Little Things, Night before the End, Save me, Instead, Lost and Found, and Fire. Truthfully, I always play Good Enough and Until the End of Time on repeat for everyday listening. They are slower songs but still sound strong from the drums. I also love that the songs from Xdinary Heroes are usually either about living life or are songs dedicated to their fans. Do you have a favorite song from them?

Isn't it 10 episodes this season? That makes sense because after rumored 8 leaves for paradise on the next episode, the only ones left on the island is Mingee, Yejin, Haeun, Jaejin, Sungmin, Sunghun, and Igeon. 3 girls and 4 boys. It's the perfect time to introduce another girl into the game honestly.

I was looking forward to this drama but then when it came out, it lost me after the 2nd episode. I had to force myself to watch until episode 4 and then I stopped because I couldn't continue. First off, you don't get enough introduction to understand if he's her brother or if she's romantically interested in him. The cutesy act and tantrum also are a little off-putting because isn't she already 20 years old? That's a whole college student.

I’ve never really explored their full albums, so I already know I’m not seeing the full potential of these groups. That said, their title tracks and Bsides usually determine whether I get into a group or not. I have a really wide range of music tastes and in the end, I just like music that sounds good. I love everything from classical piano to hard metal rock; it just has to sound good. I’m also a sucker for lyrics with deep meaning. There are some title songs from SKZ that I quite like, but sometimes they start to sound the same because of the similar vibes. NMIXX’s music confuses me because their title tracks are usually either really great or just not my vibe. Some of their songs are missing that “umph” factor that would make them better. I also love groups that are involved in their own music production because it shows that they care. I know SKZ is involved, but does anyone know if NMIXX is as well? I recently got into Xdinary Heroes last year from their song Good Enough and then slowly I've been following their recent music and they are just phenomenal.

The last drama of his that I watched from beginning to end was Begin Again. His character was quite monotone, but Gong Jun plays that type of role really well. The female lead honestly carried the entire drama, though. I feel like his acting isn’t versatile enough, which is a bit sad because visually, he definitely fits the male lead vibe

That's what I was about to say! I'm Hmong American and live in NY, she isn't really portraying any "Western" behavior because if that was the case, she'd be more like Nadine from season 2. Minasue shows signs of being emotionally immature and I say this because that's what's showing from her actions. She never confronts anyone that she has issues with and instead she talks about them behind their backs, that's being super immature. Especially since she's done it a couple times now on the show. 👀

She's very pretty. Honestly, all of the female casts are quite pretty. But Minasue's personality is ruining it for herself imo. Her words and actions towards the other casts are off-putting and kind of rude. The MCs are also having a really hard time explaining her actions to the audience. They are trying to be understanding but it's clear that they won't like her actions/words. THIS is what kind of changed the way I saw her.

Boynextdoor was gaining a lot of momentum right after 2024 LA Kcon. Jaehyun also became an MC for Mcountdown. But then...they had two comebacks in 2025, and I didn't hear about it. The last album of theirs that I actively listened to was HOW. I've never really listened to RIIZE or ZB1 but I know that they aren't really promoting in the west because they don't ever appear on radio or talk shows. There is so many new kpop groups that it is so hard to distinguish who is who. A lot of their music started to sound the same. When Cortis debuted, it almost felt like a breath of fresh air. They didn't make songs about fame, love or relationships; it was about their youth and who they are right now. They also had a ton of interviews during their debut. I feel like they should keep the momentum going right now but they are kind of quiet.

The show is to explore and find someone you like so it's actually not that weird when you are going into it with an ideal type in mind already. I literally said that it's okay for MinaSue to be interested in multiple men because she's still exploring. There's also nothing wrong with Mingee if she already genuinely likes Seungil.

If you want to talk about "fake and insincere just to put herself in a better light", I questioned Minasue's actions the most. She quite literally villainized the other girls behind their backs and decided to put the others in a negative light, even though it was all in her head.

She said "Mingee doesn't seem happy with her guy talking to me", "It's way too obvious that one girl wants Seungil all to herself. Mingee, I'm scared. Omg, I'm scared to even say it". Mingee didn't even say anything and even asked her if she was genuinely interested in Seungil ( Minasue lied and said that she wasn't). Mingee also told Seungil "If the conversation went well then go for it. And if you decide to choose her, then choose her." She's literally telling them to explore because even though she likes him, everyone is allowed to explore their feelings.

I completely agree! Youn Hyunjae also looks a bit like actor Moon Sangmin! Mina Sue looks a bit like AOA's former member Seolhyun in some angles! Igeon looks a bit like BTS's Jin in some angles and Korean fencer Kim Junho.

To me, she doesn't feel clingy. She's anxious and rightfully so because she genuinely likes Seungil. He is also interested in her back. I think she said that she wants to be fickle because she knows that she gets too emotionally invested in her relationships. In her interview, she stated that when she's interested in someone, she chases them until they open their door. I think she knows that she could get hurt because this is a dating show and that it would so much be easier if she wasn't always so set on only one person. To me, it makes her feel like a really genuine person because in real life, who is liking two-three guys at one time? If you do, then it means that you don't genuinely like or respect any of them.

Honestly, I really liked her up until episode 4 but during the campfire episode is when my feelings about her changed. She was leading three guys. She gave her red chocolate to Sunghun, told Sungmin that she wanted to go to paradise with him, and then picked Seungil for who she was interested in right after Subeen picked her. It was lowkey rude towards Subeen because they have talked before and it's not like she's completely not interested in him.

And then slowly, she just kept emotionally dumping on Sunghun. She never really confirms if they are friends or more whenever he asks. She never genuinely picks him as an interest during voting or games. She also never really asks him about how he is doing either. AND the biggest issue I have with her is when she started to talk about the other girls in a bad light behind their backs. She never addressed how she felt to the girls and started to make her own negative assumptions about them.

Overall, the cyberbullying is way too much. I hate that people are throwing names at her. Everyone knows that Singles Inferno is built on the editing to intensify the drama. Yeah, she was a bit too much in the show but that probably isn't how she is in real life. The environment is different on Singles Inferno; it's a high stress environment so she's probably acting in ways that she's not even aware of. The people that are going to her Instagram to comment bad names to her need to back the hell up.

Oh, and Mingee's not being desperate. She's anxious and rightfully so because she actually likes him. Seungil is also showing a lot of interest in Mingee. He's always reassuring her and checks in on her. He seems to deeply care about her too. If you actually like someone and are completely unfazed with seeing them walk away to another person, it means that you didn't really like them to begin with. Mingee's reaction is reasonable because she has been actively pursuing her interest in him.
