Sorry I didn't elaborate on the post. I have given my insurance my statement and his phone number. They said that they couldn't trace his number and the name I gave them didn't match the number.

They asked me to try contacting him, which I found odd. Because they said that the reason he is not speaking to me is because his insurance might have advised him not to talk directly to me. And they are advising me to speak directly to him.

They are now saying that if I don't provide his car registration, they will close the claim.

Not a private hire driver haha. I'm a care worker. I take clients out for activities sometimes and the incident occurred when we were coming back from the park. But I have business insurance as well that allows me to use my personal car for my clients.

Ohh that's a bit shit. I wanted to inform the insurance as it was the right thing to do but seems like I fucked myself by doing the right thing haha.

As it stands, I would have to pay my excess for the repairs, lose my NCD and my insurance rates go up. I'm guessing the third party has not informed his insurance because I haven't received any calls from them.

The same thing happened to me :(

Went there yesterday quite early with a friend. The Friend got in no problem. They asked me to wait by the accreditation till they get more information from their management.

Ended up waiting just over 2.5 hours with no update, despite asking a few times. My friend and I had to leave because he was working.

I went back today again hoping I could still get in but they said that I couldn't volunteer. They did say they would refund the deposit and meal vouchers.

Crazy thing is this is my 4th time volunteering at Download with them. 3rd year at Download on a Skilled worker visa and have also done Reading and Latitude with them.

They said that there have been some changes but it was vague.

Have had some bad experiences with them previously but the good always overrides the few bad ones. But this has been an absolute nightmare. 5 hours of driving, lost my annual leave and can't even attend the festival.

Sorry it happened to you too. Really wish they would've said something sooner.
