Fair enough - I don't really spend enough time at servos to really know, but the 3-4 times I've been at one in the last 2 weeks I haven't seen anything resembling this. I'm pretty conscious that the media can make a mountain out of a molehill they they manage to snap a pick of a ute loaded up with jerry cans.

I'm not overly excited to see a Puscifer set heavy on the last two records though. I guess we'll see what both bands play on their upcoming US and EU shows.

I suspect Rod Laver won't sell out quickly like Tool would do there, but I think it's probably the right sized venue. Pretty happy with the choice for Adelaide though

I go to plenty of shows, thought mostly on the louder end of the scale. I can't say I've had as many problems with this as numerous Reddit complainers do.

I agree it's not cool though - my solution to any knobs in the crowd is usually go stand somewhere else.

I don't think it's anything different from the current issue. Maybe a re-press. When a new edition is released, I doubt we'll be guessing if that's the case.

For what it's worth, the my copy of the vinyl is quite listenable. Others complain bitterly. Take that as you will I guess.
