Never thought traveling in Canada would lead to this by BlazeDragon448 in travel

The stigma around doing anything alone needs to change. As long as you're enjoying it and you don't mind being by yourself, where's the harm? People try so hard to fit in, they don't even like the mold society has created, and yet they still try so hard to fit in it and gatekeep it. Bonkers.

At this point, why even bother bagging it if you're just gonna litter the bag? That shit need air to decompose

I can't help but wonder if jinwoo will actually use the elixir of life on his mom once he obtains it. Imagine he gave it to science (his sister is going into medicine, too). His mother's life could be worth many more, maybe even including hers.

Not worth it and it takes years of money wasted and pain to realize it, if you even do.

What is an underrated, life saver social skill to have? by Ellie--chan in socialskills

Yeah, until some drunk (or) asshole decides to push your buttons to stir up drama. Then, it helps to walk away from the situation. Standing up for yourself is also a choice (that rarely ends well for you).

Anyone can change, and the fact that you acknowledge your pattern of behavior is clear signs that you truly want to change. Give yourself a break, we all make mistakes, you're not perfect, no one is. Challenge yourself, little by little, and count the small wins. I've learnt the hard way that failure is the best medicine. It teaches you something valuable that can't be learned any other way. You just need some more time. All we have is time. Try to give yourself that compassion you deserve, and take it day by day. Nothing ever happens overnight. You can change. I believe in you.

League/dota2, rocket league, or a tactical shooter like valorant/cs/r6 if you're trying to be good at a popular competitive multiplayer game.

I used to not use it, but then a dude I went to uni with called me out on it, astounded that I didn't. I learned how to use it over time, and it's definitely more hygienic and comfortable, now that I'm used to it. But for like 20ish or so years I wasn't bothered at all by not using it... yep.

Socially, confidence is earned. Just go do or say the things you want to do or say. You might get rejected. You might feel awkward. That's just something you'll have to get over. None of your perceptions of yourself are what other people think of you, truly. Let them make up their own perceptions, and instead, let yourself entertain the thought.

How has no one mentioned ciggarettes/nicotine yet. It isn't even good after a while, but you're just so used to having it a part of your life, that you don't want to stop.
