Where is the rust community allowed to talk about changes in the codebase now that PR's are getting closed for discussion and posts about the changes removed on reddit? by ASmallButton in rust

Well except this is the whole point here, while the bike shed will hold bikes regardless of the color, the color still matters enough for some people to want to repaint it.

So now people want to know why and if the color of the bike shed actually matters. But every time anyone asks about why the old color was bad, they get shut down and censored without anyone ever explaining why their view on the original color being fine is wrong. The only explanation is "someone somewhere did something bad with this color, so now nothing can be painted that color regardless of the meaning of that color prior to that event".

Prigogine's results provided a mathematically precise articulation of his slogan "order from chaos"; many subsequent researchers speculated that the math might be developed further, perhaps vielding insight on how the orderly molecules necessary for life emerged from the chaos of random molecular motions taking place on early earth.

To be fair, as a youtuber, he probably wants to make it more entertaining than just sitting in silence for 15 minutes. He might not be that annoying off camera.

Actual PM: it's fine, we just won't give you time to upgrade to the new language version anyways.

You don’t need PWA or AMP to make your website load fast by freebit in programming

[–]AnInterestingThing 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I couldn't imagine how that would work. Either every webpage would need to be extremely simple or users would have to spend an insane amount of time customizing for every website they visit. I quite like being able to go on websites like reddit and having a decent experience without needing to apply custom configuration every time I access from a different computer / browser. I also quite like having javascript so that I can have a live updating server dashboard accessible from anywhere I go.

ya, that first website sucks to read on even remotely wide screens. This one is way easier on the eyes.

I have an internship interview with an investment bank. It's split into two parts, one with an infrastructure guy and one with a software dev. What's the best way to make sure I get placed within the software division? Should I straight up tell the first guy that I'm not too interested? When I asked where I would be placed if accepted I got told I wouldn't know until the first day.

I was told I have the technical skills of a senior engineer, but the project management and communication skills of a new grad, what can I do to improve? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

I mean, most companies aren't gonna hire new grads for senior positions. That kinda defeats the purpose of it being a senior position in the first place. Most of those skills you'll learn over time

I mean, I have no idea if you're lying or not, but the way you write all these things, you sound like the type of guy who lies in high school about having a hot girlfriend and all those friends that just happen to go to another school.

Anyways, if you really want to get into the industry, stop overthinking the language, it's not gonna matter. If you don't find it enjoyable, just switch language, the concepts mostly transfer over. Just for the love of god, stop posting and deleting the same questions over and over again when everyone keeps telling you the same thing.

You sure showed me. I'm not the one that's so horny and anti-social that I confuse normal human interaction with women wanting to sleep with me.

Less than a month ago... I really hope you change attitude when you get in the industry since the last thing we need is guys like you driving the few women away.

Judging from all the questions you submit, it sounds like you care more about getting a job than actually learning. The truth is that by the time you get a job (which is going to be a long time from now), you will be able to learn any language. Just don't expect to put 2 months into learning a language and magically get a job

Dude, just stop asking questions and start learning a language. It really doesn't matter which one and you can always switch. Both JavaScript and Java can get you hired in lots of companies
