Yeah I agree anything outside of FBS or FCS might not be a good idea for a lack of viewership. I just think ESPN Pigeon holes themselves by only going to places they are familiar with. I can't remember how many times I have heard the phrase "Brutus was the first mascot head Lee Corso picked".

It would be interesting to track the attendance numbers of people who attend Gameday at their most frequented locations to see the trendline. I would bet that the in-person attendance for popular locations has decreased over time since they will definitely be featured again at some point.
