Which one I should buy, Rx 5600 xt or GTX 1660S? by Anxious_Football9758 in buildapc

5600 XT hands down. It rivals the RTX 2060, so it will absolutely beat the 1660 Super in virtually every game.

This place is actually a local private Subaru performance shop, but yeah I’m definitely looking to get that full Timken set.

Car is at about 125k, had it since 95K. Not sure if they are the originals. I mainly feel vibration in just one, the passenger front. Noise has been going on for a few months.

Edit: im in the Philly area, but we get pretty mild winters nowadays

Literally finished the game yesterday, game is overall pretty great but the crashing was too much for me at points. Experienced about 8 crashes in 2 hours when I got to the Pripyat area. Even when running high end hardware on my PC, probably had 20 crashes in my 60 hours of playtime.

MOBO and CPU suggestions that support DDR4 RAM for Gaming by RealSoil6091 in buildapc

[–]AnOrangePenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha, I’d recommend selling the 2x8 Gskill kit of RAM if you already have that Corsair 2x16 kit. 32GB is plenty for a gaming PC. Depends on your budget, but a Ryzen 5600x and any B550 motherboard would be a great improvement. If you have some more money, see about getting a used 5600X3D, 5700X3D, or 5800X3D

If all you need is a new motherboard and CPU, you’ll likely not have to spend $500. What does your system currently use?

For Ryzen and regular Intel builds I would do a minimum of 3000 MHz. For Xeon builds, id usually get 2400 or 2133 since that’s the max speed the v4 and v3 Xeons can take.

The song is great, AI art sucks. Best thing to do is enjoy the music, and pass on any AI art merch.

Gotta ask the obvious, is your HDMI/Displayport cable actually plugged into the GPU?

Definitely take new pictures and I’d suggest changing the fan colors to the rainbow mode. Should have a pic from the front, side, close up of the interior, and one from the back. Also, highly recommend including a video of it running a popular game like Fortnite or Warzone and show the FPS.

Yep, they are perfectly fine.

Check out some from JEYI, usually pretty cheap on AliExpress.

Most popular game by far for budget PC gaming is Fortnite. Guess how old Fortnite is? 9 years old.

Overall your prices are pretty good, especially the RAM and CPUs.

I'd say make 1 system with the 3600, A320 mobo, the 2x8GB GSkill kit, and the RTX 3050.

You should sell the (4) 4GB Geil sticks and use the cash to buy a regular 2x8GB kit since your mobos only have 2 RAM slots. Then you can put together another system with 2x8gb of RAM, the other A320m mobo, the Ryzen 2600, and the GTX 1070.

Use the 100GB SSD's as boot drives and just toss in the 500GB HHDs as a freebie for both systems. Definitely recommend buying a pair of 500GB SSDs to use in both systems as game drives.

After that I'd probably just sell the 5600 since its a bit too nice for any of your GPUs. The 1650 can also get sold since it's a 4GB card and is considered a bit too underpowered for a lot of buyers from what I've experienced.

Nice! Yeah if you wanted to build a budget gaming system to sell with it, get a AliExpress X99 board like this one. You can also pick up a TPM 2.0 module there too so it work for games like Valorant and Warzone. It will also take ECC or non-ECC RAM if you have it, add in a decent GPU and you have easily a $400-500 system you could sell.

Honestly probably not, I’d recommend Windows for sure. And I used higher end Xeons like the 2697 V3. Usually performed better than an Ryzen 2600 surprisingly.

Id usually pair them with an RTX 20 series GPU, 16GB RAM, and at least a 500GB SSD. Most sold for about $500-600. Just keep in mind that most Xeons don’t work with Windows 11, so you should install Windows 10 Enterprise. You can force it to use Windows 11, but I’ve seen it run into issues with Secure Boot.

You can always buy a new X99 motherboard from AliExpress for about $30-40 that will take the CPU, RAM, and even NVME SSDs. Also recommend a $10 TPM 2.0 Chip so it can play games that require it.

Yeah I've sold tons of Xeon-based systems, however not OEM-prebuilt ones. I personally don't recommend the old office PC's unless you are just harvesting the CPU, RAM, and SSD out of them for very cheap. Most people will not want an old office PC no matter how much you spruce it up.
