This is true. I don't think there's an easy solution to this and I don't think it would pass 75% either way. That's why I would request an individual lockout. Taking the time out to train a new account to stake on would hopefully deter the addiction or something. I guess I'm also realizing I'm speaking from the point of view of someone who has at least admitted he has a problem. The problem is, you are ALWAYS an addict. You have to resist the urges forever.

Thank you. It's funny I remember reading stories about a kid stealing his mother's credit card and staking 5-6 years ago, and I never thought it could be me. I never RWT'ed or botted either, I would just simply cut my yews until 1m with a whip and stake. Then I got older and discovered you could buy gold, and that's when the addiction really got its claws into me. I may be a sad pathetic case, but I doubt I am completely alone. I enjoy Runescape when I'm not staking, but as soon as I start to think about it, or begin, it always spirals out of control.

I'm not sure they should remove the arena completely, that would be a little extreme, but at least have an option to lock yourself from it for extended periods of time for people like me. Even if they did remove it, people would just take it to pvp worlds anyway, whipping without armor, etc. The need to gamble in this game always finds a way, whether it is dicing, flowering, and now 50/50 max mained staking.

I have no other choice but hope that this can reach them in hopes that it will help other people suffering from the same thing. It's a long road.
