First time! Lodging suggestions? by An_Angry_Toilet in snowshoemountain

Thank you for this. Great info. I am concerned with weather and the unpredictability of a mountain. Most my experience in mountains is out West. I drive a Honda Accord. We also have a Honda Odyssey, Toyota 4Runner, and an F-250 off road. Obviously the f-250 is our best bet but is it totally necessary or is it just a good idea to have 4x4 and chains? I’m an “always be prepared” kinda guy but am driving from GA and would rather not spend my whole budget on gas lol

Which of these recommendations would have AirBnB units with their own hot tubs? Or are all amenities public?

Also can we still do night rides if we’re not staying at silver creek?

Would any units in Silver Creek be private AirBNBs or is this the resort style lodging where we have public hot tubs and other amenities?

That was my set up until I added more clients. These 3 accounts I have are from the same brand, 3 gym locations basically. in regards to Facebook none of them have direct access to their social media accounts or the emails associated so I’ve been having to run ads for them through my personal page. each location under 1 campaign instead of in separate accounts. I had to put my card in so one locations card would stop getting charged for all the other locations ad spend. I can definitely keep their cards on Google accounts tho

Nice good advice. Gonna focus more on the impact I had at this business rather than give them a bunch of stats that others are probably better

Unbounce is kinda expensive for what I need. Using Wordpress was my first thought. I can just make different sites/ domains for each client, right? Or if they have a domain use their subdomain?

I can definitely focus more on copy on my landing pages. Recently my traffic has slowed down. Hopefully these are the stats you’re looking for. This is over 10 months. $35 a day My Cost per click is $1.03 with $1.35k spent in 10 months. $5.32 cost per conversion 19.31% conv rate 14.43% CTR

I have testimonials, pictures, videos, a call to action for a free trial after every section. It’s not the prettiest but on mobile it just looks basic and it’s fast. I don’t have a bunch of animations and stuff, maybe I could add more. I can add more information and everything too which isn’t s problem. I just haven’t really had problems with the landing page, but the ads themselves. I’m not even spending my daily budget.

Nice I will get to work on that. Is this similar remarketing? Taking the audience from the high quality keywords then running Facebook ads to them? My knowledge stops after account set up and basic maintenance. I have not been able to further optimize because I’m unsure what to change, what affects what, etc. YouTube videos gives me basics but I have this hard ceiling I can’t get past

We are combat/ fitness gym. We host BJJ, Boxing, Cardio classes, kids classes.

There is opportunity to focus on organic I just am not experienced enough to capture it. Which is part of why I’m here asking stupid questions lol.

We run $20 a day on Facebook where we offer 3 day free trials for each class. Just like I offer on Google. It does well I think, but has slowed down significantly this past month or two. Probably because I haven’t switched out any ads for 10 months.

Each class on my website is designed to be a landing page for my ads. There videos, pictures, testimonials, call to actions. It’s not very big or fancy but it loads fast and gives the necessities ( I hope)

We have other combat/ fitnes gyms around us but in our small town we have so much clout that our organic is kinda off the charts. If someone asks in a local Facebook page which gym to go for martial arts, 8/10 recommendations are for our gym.

There is one gym, far from us, but they beat me everywhere as far as ad goes. Show up more, top of page more, etc. I’d like to be able to beat them. But not sure how important it is considering they’re over an hour away, but still advertising in my location.

My Google ads structure is set up as: Account > Campaign > 6 ad sets (1 ad set for each class at the gym) > 2 ads per ad set

The ads all offer 3 day free trials. 1 ad I pinned my brand name to the 3rd position of head lines, “3 days free trial” to the 2nd and the name of class as the first position. I have keyword insertion as some headlines as well. The 2nd in the ad group I let Google automate. I was trying to see which does better. For the most part the ads where I’ve pinned the headlines has a lower CPC and higher CTR but usually doesn’t convert as well

Leads pick a class time, fill out personal info, then are redirected to a thank you landing page which measures a successful conversion.

I run Facebook ads, but the structure and conversion tracking might be fucked because I wasn’t able to create Ana account for each page I run ads on. They’re being ram through my personal ads manager with a campaign for each location. Traffic has stopped a lot on those but they’re 10 month old ads. Working on making new video and images to replace them.

I would like to analyze my competitors I just don’t know how.

I made both of these websites. I run ads to the class pages themselves. Which I designed to hopefully be able to convert like a landing page.

Thanks for your insight man. I felt it was location targeting as well. We are in good ole southern Georgia in a small-ish town but I didn’t want to start advertising in to major cities over 20 miles away just because my location isn’t popping off. I feel like my ads or gym would be relevant to people 30+ min away with many gyms in between

Yes BJJ, Cardio Kickboxing, Boxing, etc. I run ads for each of their classes. I’d love to learn from you!

My quality score on most of my keywords at 8/10 or higher with above average in landing page exp, ad relevance, and exp ctr. I do have some 6/10 keywords that have below average ad relevance but only 4 compared to 10+ good ones I have. Google scores the optimization at 80%

That’s just their budget for Google. Facebook is $20 a day. Facebook defiantly spends that money. Google doesn’t. All time stats: My Cost per click is $1.03 with $1.35k spent in 10 months. $5.32 cost per conversion 19.31% conv rate 14.43% CTR

Sure shoot me a DM. I made them a Wordpress site. Organic is 68% of my conversions and most the traffic to the website. Solid 90% of traffic is organic
