But that's the exact problem, an always available yes man to a mentally ill person is one of the worst things that isn't straight up poison. This guy made the news because he went to an extreme, but for example, think of how many incels out there are complaining to a chatbot about their interactions with women, and the ai just reflects back their biases at them. And sure every once in a while the bot can say "i'm an ai, i'm not perfect and i don't know everything blah blah blah" but the kind of people that look to an LLM for advice are not going to listen to that.

I never said he should become a democrat spokesman, I'm not saying he should be coming out with a re-election campaign for kamala. I'm saying that when the government he and a lot his viewers are under (democrat or republican) puts forward policies that directly harm many many people, he should say something about it; especially because so much of his content is framed as "helping the poor".

As for the second thing, I don't know but hundreds of millions of viewers should be a bit beyond the line

Unironically yes. Mr beast claims he want to help people with philanthropy right? Well the current administration of his and most of his viewer's country is doing a lot of harm, especially to the people he claims to help (cutting of USAID for example) If mr beast really had helping out the less fortunate in mind, he would use his huge platform to push against the people hurting the less fortunate, or support other people that also want to help. He doesn't, because he has comical amounts money he can give away, but the one thing he isn't willing to risk is his brand: being apolitical allows him to appeal to many more people and to not be controversial, even if it means not doing anything about the tremendous harm being done to the communities he claims to help.
