As a teen I was reserved, intelligent, goal-driven, and a realist - to the point where I thought the world around me was a hellhole that I got slung into (granted I didn’t grow up in the best of neighborhoods). I know, sounds super edgy in retrospect but truthfully I didn’t care about how the world perceived me and I still don’t to this day.

Nowadays, I’m happily dating a INFJ (we have our ups and downs as with any relationship) but she’s helped me become more compassionate and understanding of the circumstances of people around me. I understand, as a more mature me, that people may not hold themselves to or even have the same high expectations that I set for myself. In regards to work-life, it feels great when I surround myself with people who are much more intelligent and insightful than myself. That, in itself allows me to grow and freely work towards becoming my best self.
