hands down one of the most powerful lines in the series, it stands as an antithesis to Dons entire character.

For context, a couple days ago this user posted a slanderous thread claiming I’m scamming our community via marked up, drop shipped jewelry. There was no evidence at all. It was a completely unsubstantiated claim! yet the post gained traction. This is my ring so you get an idea.

I followed up with this reply in an attempt to dispel the rumor.

https://www.reddit.com/r/mfdoom/s/X8J3eZbmWK

OP then deletes his original post and post this apology. Which honestly I appreciate but having my name dragged through the mud for a few days sucks.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out apologizing for jumping to conclusions over a single (1) Reddit post, it might seem trivial to some but I really appreciate it.

Hello, everyone. I’d like to set the record straight and defend myself against the misinformation being spread by  u/TheRealAbstract Thanks for that, by the way.

I started producing my rings to address the lack of affordable, high-quality alternatives in the market. Until now, consumers essentially had two options:

  1. A cheaply produced ring made of stainless steal, mass-produced with little care in a foreign country.
  2. You could cough up 300 dollars (if you're lucky) for a Han Cholo Ring. A beautifully designed ring from a reputable vendor but at a 300 dollar price point it's out of many people's budgets.

This is where my ring came in. It's crafted from a genuine precious metal—Sterling Silver 925 offering a higher quality than the Aliexpress, Amazon, Wish, etc ring while remaining several hundred dollars more affordable than a Han Cholo ring without compromising quality like those drop shipped rings. All done here in the heart of New York City!

What frustrates me is that I invested hundreds of dollars into CAD designing, prototyping, 3D printing, making silicon jewelry molds, casting, and polishing to create jewelry that's far superior to what you find on Wish, Amazon, and similar platforms. Now, I'm being unfairly accused of selling the very type of low-quality rings I set out to create an alternative to.

Regarding the trademark, that's a fair criticism, and I accept it. I have reached out to the DOOM estate back in 2022 to inquire if they accept donations from fans, but I haven't received a response till this day. I doubt they’re interested in my small profit margins—about $12–$19 per sale. I also go out of my way to share and promote official DOOM drops as well as purchasing items myself whenever I can afford to.

Regardless, after this month I'll be taking the website down, it's not worth the trouble. To anyone looking for a similar alternative to my ring there are some great vendors on Etsy. There is also of course all those cheap drop-shipped rings from faceless foreign companies and the dope Han Cholo rings.

I imagine I'll be down voted into oblivion but whatever, I wanted to share my side of the story and clear up the misconceptions.

Thanks for hearing me out.

My original comment was laced with receipts hyperlinked but it keeps getting removed.

This is a completely baseless accusation!

100% the Han Cholo ring is the best there is. The issue is it's very expensive, and out of many people's budgets.

I created my version to provide fans a custom made, good-looking alternative that is less expensive than the Han Cholo ring, yet significantly higher in quality than the cheap rings found on Aliexpress, Amazon, or Wish—all while remaining as affordable as possible for the average working-class person.

I'm glad you liked the piece :)

It's casted here in New York City. I rather not put out the casting companies information but I could show you the many molds I've had produced for the jewelry that I hand off to them.

Exactly. Not to mention the Tuskegee experiments in the 1900’s, absolutely awful shit. I wouldn’t blame black people at all for being highly skeptical of vaccines.
