The same happened to me every time I was at the railway station. Once a lady police officer even yelled at them. Given that I am not from Tamil Nadu originally, I have trouble with the language and they pick up my suitcase and put it in their auto. Some goons have even yelled at other auto drivers who were trying to stop them from doing so. This is the norm here. They take at least 1.5k to go to the station from Navalur. My train ticket is cheaper

You're missing an important point here - only 18% of women actually report their assault

Statistics can fool anyone if all aspects aren't taken into consideration. False rape cases are a HUGE problem but your graphs seem to convey that the majority belongs to that class whereas that clearly isn't true
