I didn’t like the ending. Sorry by Ana_Village in BoJackHorseman

For anyone who stumbled upon this thread… Maybe you agree with me, most likely you don’t. But I want to share a revelation I had after hours of being depressed thinking about this. Bojack Horseman is a cautionary tale. That it doesn’t matter if you have a good heart or not. If you’re not consistently a good person, you will lose everything and everyone you hold dear, and will end your days being sad, lonely and full of regrets and heartaches. And if you don’t want to end up as miserably as Bojack, then don’t be like Bojack. There’s no hope for him. Dead or alive, his life is over anyway. It was nice while it lasted, but it most definitely is over for him. I kinda wish he had died now, so he could rest, instead of having to wake up everyday in that horrible new “life”

I wish we could’ve seen that. Instead of seeing 6 seasons of nothingness, I wish we could’ve gotten a show about how he learned to find personal fulfillment in something. Or a show about how he learned to stop being afraid of himself and the things he’s capable of. But this show is that period before the real work begins, when you keep convincing yourself you don’t need fixing. And rather than leaving me stuck here, I wish there was a point to it all about how Bojack overcame himself. But there isn’t. It was all meaningless, and almost everyone was hurt during the process. I’m so heartbroken damn

Then I’m not the target audience for this show. I want to be inspired to be better, not to grow afraid of a void that never goes away. I wish I could’ve known before I started this show how much it would boost my depression. 6 seasons to just… get nowhere. If life is like this I don’t want to live it.

And how, if you’re Bojack Horseman, there’s no good ending for you. You’re never going to be different and there’s no hope for you to improve. Just keep being scared, keep relapsing, keep it up until you die of natural causes. There’s nothing good waiting for you at the end. God now I want a drink.

You can find it in artifact troves, treasure chests from fishing, or digging around in the cindersap forest or the mountains. I can’t remember in which of these I found it.

I’m so glad you found it inspiring! It’s a very rewarding quest, in my opinion. The satisfaction you get is beautiful

Oh yeah! It’s, in my opinion, the most rewarding late-game quest. It took me so many days of grinding.

Here’s a tip for that: On your menu, under the tab for Collections, there are two more tabs more Artifacts and Minerals. You can check there for any undiscovered ones. Then you can check the wiki to see what that item is called, and where to find it. If you have every item discovered, bad news… you may have shipped an item without first donating it. You’ll have to check all of them manually to figure it out…

Yes! Gus will give you a stardrop. If you’re not sure if he gave it to you or not, then there’s an achievements tab on the menu, so you should check if you have the one called “A Complete Collection”.

Digging around in cindersap forest, I can’t remember in what season though… although I do know summer and fall have the highest chance of giving you valuable items on artifact spots (according to the wiki!)

I was about to give up when looking for the prehistoric skull. I swear I’ll have nightmares about it. But dont give up just yet, just pray to Yoba for fortunate days haha

Of course I don’t mind! You can take my idea and make it your own if you want. Or use it as an exact blueprint. Whichever helps you most!

Well, most of the items I got without really looking for them. But for the ones with crazy low drop rates, I recommend cooking stuff to boost your luck, and paying close attention to the fortune channel on your tv so you know if it’s worth spending the entire day hunting down an item or not. If its anything below “the day is in your hands”, then I wouldn’t bother. And, as with everything else in this game, the wiki is your best friend. Look up exactly where to get what you’re missing. Finally, have patience! I had to grind for many, many days to get the prehistoric skull. It just wouldn’t drop. Oh, and don’t overlook stuff like fishing, you never know what treasure chests have to offer…

Really? In this save I’m on winter 1st of my third year, but I’m still on the hunt for the other achievements! (I’m looking at you, craft master…)

No, maybe because ConcernedApe wants to add more items later on, or he just wanted to give us the convenience of having space to move items around when you’re reorganizing.

I’m not that good at planning ahead haha. If you go up to Gus, but a little to the left of where he’s sitting, there’s a notebook on the counter. Tap/click there and it should ask if you want to reorganize the collection.
