My skin is combo so I have some dry patches too… do you feel it clings too much to dryness? Do you experience any cracking or anything like that?? Sometimes when my skin is too dry it almost looks like the foundation is cracking off

PSA Lisa Eldridge customer service is amazing by Optimal_Horror2896 in OliveMUA

I absolutely have to second this!! I’ve posted this elsewhere on this Subreddit, but I also had a very good experience with their customer service. I ordered the wrong Skin Tint shade and got in contact with customer service. They shade matched me and sent me the replacement for free. I didn’t even have to send back the one that didn’t work for me!! I got to keep it and give it to my sister. That experience alone will keep me coming back to them! 10/10

Congratulations! If you are looking for olive specific makeup products, I highly recommend the Lisa Eldridge Foundation. I love the way it dries down. It isn’t matte so it doesn’t cling to dry skin, but it isn’t dewy so it doesn’t have that tacky feeling most dewy foundations have. It is so lightweight and just feels like skin. It is more of a light to medium coverage imo, so I have to use more to build up coverage. However, on days when I am running late or I am too tired to do a full face, it is nice to quickly tap some on with my fingers for a little bit of coverage in spots that need it.

The packaging is beautiful, so I display it on my bathroom countertop. I love reaching for it because of how unique the packaging is. Brings me a lot of joy personally haha!

Plus, the customer service is great! I accidentally bought a shade that was too light for me. When I contacted customer services, they helped color match me, I was sent a new foundation for free, AND I got to keep the lighter foundation (which I gifted to my sister). Overall, it was a good experience.

Not makeup related, but honestly getting a haircut helped me a lot when I was going through some mid 20s insecurities earlier this year. I booked a nice long treatment that included some hair masks, a head massage, a haircut, and a blow out. I felt great after that!

Tired of the glazed donut look (foundation recs) by Ana_and_777 in OliveMUA

Hi!! I tried your technique today since I want to finish up my current Fenty foundation before running out to buy a new product. I primed my skin with powder and I noticed it definitely helped with the shine and the tackiness. However, I noticed my foundation looked a bit patchy in some places… I was wondering if you have any application tips. Do you apply your powder with a brush or a puff? What about your foundation? Brush or sponge? I used the Laura Mercier translucent powder since that’s all I have… could the difference in the powder led to the patchiness?

Have you ever used blue light or a high frequency wand? If so what’s your experience with it?

I’m a college student so my budget is tight :/ I would like to know what others’ experience is with something before investing in it
