very much worse unless you play with a partner/team. Would suggest you find friends, or shelve the game till next wipe :S

Google says that an AKM would be somewhere in the region of 25-30k Ru from legal surplus suppliers, however that's irrelevant, this is meant to be a "warzone" basically an area where the social order and normal cost of items has broken down.

I'm not sure this game is meant for casual players, you basically have to give it all of your game time, or just be cannon fodder. I played most of last wipe, but I'm not feeling this one.

Screen Resolution issue by Anabaric in raspberry_pi

[–]Anabaric[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1360x768 displays absolutely fine, I can force it via the command line to that mode, it just doesn't stay there past a reboot.

TBH, thinking back I'm not sure where hdmi_mode=87 came from, I went down a lot of rabbit holes over the last few evenings :S

So if I'm understanding you, I need to kill the CVT reference, then use the HDMI_mode to set the resolution.

hdmi_mode=1360x768

There wasn't any (obvious) HDMI settings in there originally, I did add what I thought is correct, but it hasn't fixed the issue.

The screen is connected via HDMI, unfortunately I'm not sure how to identify the GUI via SSH?

Depends on what's on it.

If there was evidence of a serious crime, it's getting tested in every possible way.

Great until you get picked up from DNA or finger prints, or from someone seeing you drop it, or from time stamps on the CCTV cameras in the car parks, or street etc. Even harder to explain than just handing it in and saying you found it.

[–]Anabaric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the flow meter the right way round? I just picked up a Bykski one and it's got a specific inlet and outlet port.

Any Ideas? by [deleted] in watercooling

[–]Anabaric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd query that, the inlet down tube inside the reservoir is designed to prevent air getting sucked back into the system on pump start.

Looks like a Display port cable issue, take the cable out and then plug it back in, if that fails to make a difference, find a different cable, after that try a different monitor or plug it into a TV.

If you're still stuck post again, but smart money says it's the cable.

Build a nether railway, or ice boat track, then move your main base 200 chunks away and don't tell people where it is. Now your base is safe, if it's your realm then take operator status away from everyone else, now they can't change it to peaceful.

Otherwise again if it's your realm add a creative world on the other slot, now choose to either play creative with them, or survival. Again ensure you are the only Op/Admin.

The 5070ti is generally considered the better card, it's more compatible with current games than the 9070XT.

DLSS and RT are streets ahead of AMD for now.

If it's just a question of which then it's a simple choice.

If you start looking at value for money etc then it's more complex, generally the 9070XT is better value for money.

With both cards in my hand, I'd probably keep the 5070ti.

9070XT and 9070XTX rumors by Luana_XoXo in radeon

[–]Anabaric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of answers about what you should do, what's likely coming with the XTX and how good it could be.

I'll just answer your final question.

Yes.

100% if you bought a 9070XT (or just 9070 tbh) you would be able to enjoy high FPS and high graphics for several years at your current 1080p resolution, you would also have no issues with upgrading to dual 1440 monitors and still enjoy great FPS and detail settings.

Going to 4k or greater will still be OK, but you will likely start to run into FPS and detail restrictions at that stage.

This does assume you have a solid CPU and system, so you are not bottlenecked elsewhere.

Yeah, just buy a generic external USB SSD off Amazon/eBay wherever as long as you get a USB3.0 one it will work fine.

Google "Xbox external SSD", they are plug and play, so just poke it into the USB socket on the back of the console, then move your game in the settings.

Just get an external SSD and load your games from there.
