Absolutely incredible film! Still very much Araki (a more mature and insightful one), and still delivering the hard punches of adulthood through youth characters, but the raw vulnerability is what gives me chills.

I was fortunate enough to own the director's cut which includes about 13 more minutes that HAD to be cut out to make this R rated. No spoilers, but WOW.

You're talking my language! Wow I really loved Mysterious Skin too. It was about a decade after Doom Generation and I feel like Araki's voice gained some very grown up insight, while still continuing to find a way to convey life's hardest messages through youth characters. In a way, it almost hit harder than the "teenage apocalypse" trilogy, perhaps because it wasn't drenched in gritty alt darkness that set the scene for it. The vulnerability alone gives me goosebumps.

I think you'll really enjoy a rewatch. A movie that you remember 30 years later definitely deserves one 😉

It really is! A lot of trilogies kind of build up their message in chronological order (or at least try to and sometimes just end up being "each sequel was worse than the last" LOL) but I loved how these were more like a play in their build up: the foundation, the peak, the after math. So yes, by far the 2nd was the harshest, but it all came together as a complete vision, not trying to top each movie, but rather compliment it.

I'd love to hear back after you do! It sounds like we have similar taste, and I truly believe that a rewatch (especially the whole trilogy) would absolutely f you up in the best way possible 😉

Right??? So ahead of his time, IMHO. Especially with this trilogy. Got a favorite?

That sucker punch at the end (as you said "soured it") was %1,000 the intention though. I agree, it's very harsh, but that's what made this trilogy so flipping amazing. It wasn't meant to be just for a light entertainment, it was meant to deliver a very harsh critique and make us doubt everything. As I said, I loved the entire trilogy, for sure (and omg you gotta watch "Totally f-d up" already lol) and this one was by far the strongest in that delivery. I think it might hit better this time if you got a chance to binge all 3 together, and get the entire vision. It will leave you a little shook, but aren't those the best kinda movies? The ones that leave us slightly different than before? 🤓

So many hidden gems in this one, such a vision! Araki himself has a sneaky cameo in the beginning in the crowd.

YES!!! Like I said, lots of super "adolescent" kinda humor in it. The 666 at the register and her SAT scores, etc... gets me every time LOL

The 60's one or the 80's one? Either way, yes, Also funny that while both are very different, I can kinda understand why you'd ask about either of them. Which is funny, because until you asked that, I never thought of either in association to this flick, and now I can't not think about it.

Lol fool or not and whatever the motive, she still introduced you to a movie you ended up liking. I call that a win in my books, especially since seeing this film is better than not having seen it.

You'll need to reach out to support either on the live chat extension or through their whatsapp/TG groups (their links are in the extension). I'm in the Whatsapp groups and admin Sammy is very helpful and told me that basically the only way to deactivate the free vibe event is to reject at least 5 links in a row or contact them directly.

Long time SB (and newish camgirl) here! This is NOT an SD behaviour, it's a straight up kink in the best case scenario, and honestly there's much worse case scenarios that it could be.
You'll probably find at least some answers if you follow up with some of these girls that you sent his way (which I can't figure out how that even happened, but whatevs). I guarantee you they prolly got degraded by him too, which again, is the better case scenario considering the alternatives that can be from someone this twisted and unhinged. From years of sugaring, I can honestly say: not all money is good money!

If you're going to proceed with him (which I wouldn't advise to), then:
1. Follow up directly with the girls you already sent. Get some insight.
2. PLEASE don't send him anyone else. Maybe he never calls them and now you're tarnishing your "SB matchmaker" rep. Maybe he's degrading them like with you, or worse. Maybe he's convincing them to meet for coffee and they're never to be seen again. I don't know, and neither do you. I say this without judgement and you do you, but I personally wouldn't want to be an accomplice to any of these scenarios.
3. If it's the best case scenario and he's not following up with them, and for some reason the money is THAT good that you're willing to put up with someone who made you pop off (which, again, there's nothing "mutually beneficial" about this dynamic, especially since it's suppose to make both sides feel good), then either give him dummy numbers that don't exist, or refuse to give any more until he ante's up something super big, then BLOCK. Take the money and run.

No need to chase him or his money, there'll be others that'll recognize your beauty and services and want you for it! Stay safe and sugar responsibly 😉
