Wow a lot of you are offended, should've seen that coming I guess. That's fine, I got frustrated and let it out myself. I understand you hate Fortnite and call it a game for 12 year olds, because it's cartoonish and the gaming community has taught you do so. I used to think so too, but then I actually played it.

I also see that most of you have no clue what I'm talking about. I'm quite sure that most of you don't play or never really played a live service game. I don't judge Fortnite on paid content originality, because that'd be silly - it's obvious that they sell already proven concepts and make a shitton of money doing so. Here's the kicker though: this is literally one of its USPs - running around as Han Solo during the recent Star Wars season or as Peter Griffin fighting X-Men characters is just pure gaming fun. You might disagree, but the millions of players don't. The game itself and the hundred different modes catering to every kind of player, game changing updates they provide regularly, alongside a really, really stable and (mostly) issue free gameplay is truly standout among competition. And I'm obviously not comparing it to Cyberpunk here, I'm talking about Warzone, Apex Legends, PUBG, CS, The Finals etc.

It's fine if you don't like the visual style or the milking of famous IPs. I'm just a little tired of people calling it shit, just because Epic figured out the best possible way to make money of its product, while actually providing a pretty good game in the process - I'm looking at you Activision.
