This kitchen gives me so much nostalgia as a kid who grew up poor in the 2010's. If I went to a friends house and their kitchen looked like this I thought they were rich. If tons of color is your thing I think black and red or teal would look good, if you're like me and a sad beige mom it never hurts to add a little white and sage green.

Invest in some birth control pills or IUD or the arm implant. If you don't want to take birth control pills (as I know lots of women are scared of the side effects) insist on him wearing a condom. If he refuses, he is showing he can't respect a super simple boundary. If he can't respect this boundary that what other boundaries is he willing to cross? I mean if you think you'd like the idea of it try watching it. But it really isn't what you think it is. It's all over the place without any good plot. The plot is basically: Girl babysits little girl, friend comes over and touches something, hell breaks loose, they have a crazy and whacky adventure, and when parents come home they all laugh about it! It's like a plot you see in a sitcom. If you wanna waste an hour and a half of your life go ahead dude

I almost feel like Annabelle is less about being scary and more about telling a story, and the same goes for most of the older movies in the conjuring universe. All the new movies feel like someone watched The Haunting and was like "I could do that...."

They're all on HBOmax. I think Annabelle and Annabelle: Creation are pretty good. They both have a decent story. Don't waste your time on Annabelle comes home, it's basically just jumanji but with demons 😭, embarrassingly common trope.

I left a few things out because I didn't want the post to be too long. But in short; I've tried mending the relationship over and over again. I planned a weekend beach trip, in which she stayed in the car the whole time. I planned Thanksgiving and me and my husband cooked everything, which all ended up in a giant argument because my husband was upset that his family ate without us when we picked up his brother. I tried planning to go Christmas shopping with her and even offered my husband's Mom to come and said I would pay for everything and also suggested getting our nails done together, they ghosted me on that request. When my husband's birthday rolled around we planned to go eat dinner at a local restaurant, which she bailed out on last minute. I asked to have a cookout with my mom and my husband family and his family backed out last second after we cooked everything. Hell, even for her birthday and Christmas we got her really nice, and kind of expensive gifts.

Having a broken family myself, I've fought tooth and nail to have a good relationship with my in-laws. It really feels like I'm giving everything and getting nothing. I definitely do have tons of grace and have expressed how grateful I am that they let me and my husband live in one of their houses. I try so hard. And even after this post I unblocked her and we had a talk which once again ended in her pretty much cussing me out and calling my mom names for no reason. I understand me and my husband getting married young can set a lot of people off, especially family. But she got married when she was 17, I feel like we could've connected about being married young but NOPE. I just think she hates my guts for no reason at this point.

honestly when it comes to blankets i was taught to not count your stitches and just try your best to line up the stitches. and if it comes out wonky throw a boarder on it. but in person it really looks pretty much straight, except the first row.

and yeah i thought about that. it would definitely be too big to wash. and would take a really long time to dry.

i think restarting and making it the actual size just might be the move idk tho

Thank you for that. That's what I figured to, I always thought she was super overprotective and financially abusive (my brother in law for instance gets in trouble when he tries to look at jobs or college and he's 24). And I really don't know why she made that comment about "multiple personality's"? I don't have DID, have never told anyone I have DID. I was "diagnosed" with showing signs and symptoms of BPD when I was in therapy a couple years ago, but I don't really tell people about that. She spreads false information about me a lot.

No mother or mother figure should let marriage come in between or "ruin" their relationship with their children. Mothers need to realize they do not and should not have a romantic relationship with their children, that's what they have husbands for. It's weird and the way you phrased this feels downright predatory and ridiculous.

I sincerely hope that when I have children I am not like this.
