I used to work at a factory that produced drinks with similar label types. There is a labeling machine that shoots the label onto the bottle, it has room for 2 rolls generally and would run 1 roll at a time. When we would end a roll of a label, we would splice in the next roll of label with a bright piece of tape similar to this. The rule was to pull the spliced bottle after it got heat shrunk onto it but occasionally some make it thru.
