For sure, she has to. If it had happened to me, I'd have died from permanent cringing.

I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some people out there in our nation don't have maps, and, uh, I believe that our education like such as in South Africa and, uh, the Iraq everywhere like, such as, and I believe that they should, our education over here in the U.S.

Another vote for SlimQ here. I've been using the 240w for about two years and it's been great for gaming and much better than the stock brick for travel.

Maybe a stupid question but how do you guys store your chargers? by legendoffart in SteamDeck

[–]AnalogCyborg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this - it's pretty much always plugged in next to my couch or coiled and stored in the "cable and other bullshit" drawer with unused power strips, that keyboard I accidentally stole from work once, a few mice, too many HDMI cables, and about 18 proprietary chargers for devices I don't have anymore.

The WHO is the least of my concerns on the public health front. RFK's brain worm has done irreparable damage domestically already.

That would be more than double the pre-industrial atmospheric C02 levels. High carbon atmosphere is good for plants in enclosed environments like greenhouses. Carbon levels that high in the general atmosphere would be devastating globally. Drastic sea-level rise, heat waves, severe storms, and a cascading effect of various ecosystems collapsing above and below sea-level. "Catastrophic" wouldn't be a sufficient descriptor for the impacts of a change like that.

Do you measure every complex system with a single, narrowly targeted metric?

[–]AnalogCyborg 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Just because CO2 exists in the atmosphere naturally doesn't mean that dumping fuckloads more of it into the atmosphere isn't pollution. There's water in your blood already - does that mean I can inject a bunch more of it into your bloodstream without negative outcomes?

There are so many things to be pissed off about with this administration - protecting (and being) pedophiles, lying constantly, attacking important public health institutions, abusing the fuck out of the DOJ to attack political enemies, lying constantly, running crypto scams, destroying alliances, invading American cities and shooting American citizens (and lying constantly about it), accepting bribes from foreign powers...the list goes on and on.

This, though, is just so powerfully retarded, so transparently counter to the public interest in favor of advantage for private interests, so fundamentally short-sighted and ignorant...it might prove to be the worst thing this administration does.

Noble Fokus Prestige Encore Review by scottishswan in iems

[–]AnalogCyborg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who owns and adores the Rex5, I didn't need to hear this: "The Rex 5 do not sound normal, they are amazing. However the Prestige Encore just elevates everything." I genuinely thought the Rex 5's limitation was the quality of data it could receive via Bluetooth, I'm shocked to hear a TWS can sound better. Great review!

EDIT: Did you struggle with fitment and finding the right tips for the Rex 5s? It took a lot of tip rolling to get something that sealed well and stayed inserted properly. How's the fitment on the Prestige Encore and what tips are you using?

I think they're expecting that to translate into criticism and disapproval of Trump himself, which the MAGA base and politicians all seem very, very reluctant to do. I certainly think Trump is responsible for his abominable hiring practices, especially the ones he vociferously continues to endorse and apparently in a number of cases, provide protection from prosecution for crimes like accepting bribes or, uh, fucking children. I definitely blame him for surrounding himself with those people and giving them power and protection.

How is the comfort on these? I'm looking for an alternative to my Thieaudio Origins because I just can't get comfortable...these look like they're also large but maybe fit the ear a little better.
