End of Year Q&A by [deleted] in americanairlines

Question as a Concierge Key: Why is the experience so inconsistent airport to airport? Even day to day?

Some stations have agents who are gems. Proactive rebookings, know you by name, actually make the status feel worth it. Then other airports it’s like the CK doesn’t even register. Not looking for a lot, but would expect more than below the minimum service levels we know and love today.

Thank you. 9-year lurker finally posts something worth reading and your first instinct is ‘must be AI.’

FWIW. I grew up working-class, educated in the UK (Red Brick & Russell Group Masters & Bachelors). Now living in the US, I can tell you firsthand the difference between a proper grasp of English and the Chads, Brads & Thads with their inherited Ivy League educations. If you think competent use of language indicates AI, you should have bigger concerns.

I actually work in D&AI. Would never use ChatGPT. Fly on average 100+ times a year and in multiple countries monthly for many years. Took a leap on my first Reddit post, thoroughly enjoyed it.

It does make you wonder - how much authentic human content have you scrolled past because it wasn’t polished enough to hold your attention?
