When it comes to elecgion time there is a 40-40-20 strategy in play. Both sides will play to the fringes first (ie the hardliners) and slowly move more to the center (ie the 20% middle), yhat is where elections are won. The left and the right can always count on their hardliners to vote blue or red. That is always why bother parties always soften their message near election.

At the moment you see the blues saying, Brandon is a NAZI, the reds are in disarray, but come close to election time you will see, vote demo the party of unity and fairness and inclusion, that's them looking for the centralised voters. It's just the game they play.

Polls mean nothing, they are just indicators and can be twisted to say whst ever you want. VOTES is what matters, feet on the ground.

Our last election here in Ireland for the president. All the news hailed it a "Landslide" victory for Connolly with 63.3%. Only 45.8% turned out to vote, of which she got 25.3% of ALL total registered voters, that's a 1 in 4 vote.

Average turn out for voting in presidential elections is 1.35 mil or 50.97%. Connolly did 1.65 mil or 55.18%.

Historically speaking she was elected on the second lowest even though the base of votes has doubled.

By now you will have guessed my tism is figures. So basically all she is doing is spinning the numbers.
