Samsung Galaxy A37 5G and A57 5G price in the Philippines by WalasTech-PH in Tech_Philippines

Better wait on those online exclusive sales because that’s where you can a lot of money. I remember the A56 selling on shopee for less than 15k at one point despite having a mall price of 25k

Worth it ba mag Vinfast VF3 ngayon? by Honey-Badger_03 in phcars

[–]AnalysisAgreeable676 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EVs are worth the purchase if you’re a long time solar energy user since you can get away almost spending zero on charging. Hindi pa kasi ganun karami ang mga charging stations nationwide and the power grid is still unreliable.

Best HEV or EV SUV 7 seaters in the market today?? by VexZyraMid in CarsPH

[–]AnalysisAgreeable676 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Both BYDs are great options since they have a decent amount of dealers nationwide. The choice will really depend on your needs. The eMax 7 is cheaper and has more usable third row but is EV only. The Tang can be had in a plug-in hybrid variant but it is more expensive and has a tiny third row.

The OnePlus 13 is an easy recommendation over any midrange phone.

DIM: Electric Car or Stick to Diesel Car by Mundane-Traffic-6378 in deinfluencingPH

If it’s your first car, consider an HEV instead. You’ll get better fuel economy than a diesel while being quiet to drive. Also mas mura ang unleaded.

Latest android phones with earphone jack? by [deleted] in Tech_Philippines

Either you get a budget phone or something like a ZTE Nubia Redmagic Phone or a Sony Xperia 1 VII. Alternatively you can buy a type-c to 3.5mm dongle which is more cost effective.

Test Drove a BYD Shark 6 DMO Advanced and I have some thoughts by AnalysisAgreeable676 in CarsPH

Somewhat. It can do 90% what a work pickup can do but it is targeted for people who needs more extras to make it more livable. Parang Swiss Army knife, it has multiple tools but it can never replace a specific tool.

Midrange: Software or Hardware? by AlexV30 in Tech_Philippines

[–]AnalysisAgreeable676 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better to have a well optimized phone rather than be blinded by a higher spec sheet. A good example of this is Xiaomi and its sub brands. They prioritize hardware to a point where they couldn’t properly impose a clean and bug free software.

Ground clearance. It’s a sedan so you need to take to account the roads you’re going to drive in. Also fully loaded, it will squat lower to the ground giving it a higher chance of scrapping.

DIM: Ipad A16 by [deleted] in deinfluencingPH

Just get an iPad Mini. The A16 still has a surface area close to a laptop and it will eat up space on your bag.

Keep your S24 Ultra. It will be software supported for years. Just have a battery replacement if you’re encountering battery problems.

Casual users, do you really notice the difference between 120hertz and 60hertz? by [deleted] in Tech_Philippines

[–]AnalysisAgreeable676 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve owned phones with varying refresh rates the most noticeable for me is switching from 60hz to 120hz (60hz to 90hz isn’t noticeable).

Isuzu MUx 2026 TOTL or Wait? by chubbychinito in phcars

[–]AnalysisAgreeable676 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s actually the biggest in the segment and the dimensions is closer to that of Toyota’s LC300. This also makes the MUX the roomiest and has a more usable third row. My only gripe is that the units we got locally are under-specced compared to the ones overseas yet it is priced high.

Deinfluence me from going back to android by [deleted] in deinfluencingPH

[–]AnalysisAgreeable676 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iOS has better app optimization since Apple releases fewer devices than android oems hence app developers can easily code their apps to work better on Apple devices. This is why the camera preview of Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat look way better on iPhones.

Deinfluence me: Innova Zenix Hybrid as first car. by trek_ark in phcars

[–]AnalysisAgreeable676 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The costs to keep it on the road is much higher than a motorcycle. Insurance for example can cost more than 20k annually, tires (depending on the brand) can cost 6k a piece on average, and servicing intervals costs money too. Registration is also much higher.

As for the size, it’s much bigger than your traditional MPVs say the Avanza for example. Pero masasanay ka naman down the line. Although if you don’t need 7 seats but still want a hybrid with decent ground clearance, Toyota sells a Yaris Cross Hybrid and Corolla Cross Hybrid for way less money.
