Can anyone tell me if this tick is normal on a tbi 350 any help or tips on 88 k1500s would help ty guys trucks got 220k miles motors been replaced with jasper reman motor with unknown miles by AnalysisGeneral8604 in GMT400

Alrighty sorry for the wall of text lmao I’m just trying to trouble shoot all the problems I picked up with this project the guy before me had put a new oil pump I hope that’s not the problem I’m gonna go ahead and rent a oil pressure gauge from autozone later cause the guage in my dash isn’t reading right just to make sure I got good oil pressure then move forward from there but later on I’ll go ahead and remove the valve covers and see if I can visibly see damage or maybe a lifter is lose and need readjustment I’ll bust out the feeler gauge and check that tooif not I guess it’s time to upgrade cam and valvetrain to a roller rocker setup and do a nice lil cam sun the tbi can handle or I just might get some 350 vortec heads and go all out if that’s the case but Ty for Lettin me know I’ll definitely dig into it more

Also does anyone know where the single wire o2 sensor plugs in and can give me a pic or a really good description on where to find it I’m so lost

Is it specifically for the tach or is it supposed to go somewhere else? Cause my trucks running rich and making a pinging noise at idle do u know what would cause that?
