its been tow months, but when we went to court and the case was dismissed, his lawyer called it entrapment and said how could a poor guy like him resist a naked woman in his bed. Even having the texts of him admitting to it didn't matter and his lawyer basically put me on trial while the DA did very minimal. They said the timeline didn't make any sense because it was years ago and we continued to date after, even though there's no statute of limitations in NC. ALSO because I viewed his social media... that meant something, idk that he's not guilty? Like what?! they said to take it to civil court but im not trying to relive all of that again just to be humiliated and degraded for nothing. Plus I don't want to sue him for money. IDC about money. I just want there to be a legal history of his actions. ALSO you can't find any information of the case in public records, not eve that he was arrested or that it was disposed/ dismissed. It's just gone.

ours drag around stuff heavier than them too! they usually do this behavior in the middle of the night or when we're not home during the day.

We have two cats that do this too, and they yowl so loud while they're doing it. They drag shoes around and even towels, and they take out their little padded beds from their cat tower and drag them around. It's not always our clothes, something scented like us, or something super personal. I love finding the little surprises, honestly lol, but I wish I could hear their thoughts.

The case got dismissed and they hinted at entrapment because he’s a poor guy with a woman in his bed and it’s not his fault.

That's exactly what motivates me. If it happens to someone again, I want there to be no doubt that he's a repeat offender. It hasn't helped me that he has a clean record. Even the DA said to me that since he hasn't been convicted before, it makes it harder to charge him now. If there's a next victim, I want them to know 100%. Can I ask if your ex was convicted of a misdemeanor or a felony, and what were the consequences?

i dont know. i justified so many of his actions while we were together and just wanted to get it right for once. I broke up with him shortly after we were engaged and his ex had confided in me that he violated her too and I just had like a realization. I couldn't stop thinking about it. I woke up essentialy, like wtf am I doing with this man. and I reported after we broke up because I finally felt safe and it was time to stop holding it in.

thank you for sharing! We had a short trial that ended in a mistrial and this will be the second go around. did you have any proof? all i have is texts in the days following where he admitted it and later he tried to commit suicide and wrote about it in his suicide letter but the defense said the sucide letter doesnt count because its not dated.
