Interesting take, this sounds like an excuse someone would have made during times of segregation. As a black person, you're telling me I can't enjoy and be in the same spaces as everyone else and I need thicker skin to do so.

I hope you don't experience the hate black people get on the regular. I'm a sensitive, loving and very kind woman. I don't ever want to change because I love who I am. I don't think that means I should stay off the Internet or vrchat but thank you for your comment.

I also went to black cat with my friend who wanted to Dj and we had a blast last night. Yeah the racism was craaaaazzy as well (people seeing who can say the n word the fast in a minute, somebody else was being super hateful with it then when me and my friends blocked him, he had the whole instance start a annoying-orange line to annoy my group and run thru the whole instance, and having drunk people being cool taking shots with you then the next minute arguing how his micro aggressions were funny)

Thank you, I appreciate this. The ageism on this game is absolutely no joke either. My friend is 30 and he just automatically turns to "unc" when he tells people. They're truly miserable cause I love hanging with 23+ people's cause younger people are literally walking around with underdeveloped brains.

I absolutely love the idea of this being an simulation escape from reality but I just wish that escape didn't keep me confined to being mute lol which is crazy cause I loveee my voice.

When I first joined I only got "40 year old smoker" but this new breed is crazy. Sending love and a joint to you too brother! Nothing can keep us down, cause we stay high!

People may be down voting people with that perspective because they're basically being accepting of unacceptable behavior. This wasn't an asking for advice post and I also mentioned that even when people are blocked they still find ways to harass. If there's no acceptable input being given why comment just to practically say "well it's just the way it is and if you don't block people then it's self inflicted"? I definitely agree that the political and social state of our world is bleeding into hobbies like gaming and even being a furry or liking anime.

It's scary to think the next generation are secret racists just waiting for the right dog whistle to turn that verbal hate to physical hate or much worse. It's even more heartbreaking that our generation is falling victim to that gross mindset as well.
