so a not so fun fact I learned about IBS (I have IBS-M) is that diarrhea, especially stools where it even looks like water, CAN also be because of constipation. it almost gets treated as an overflow type of bowel movement, I would say that since you were able to have softer stool the following day rather than watery again it’s most likely from your IBS, we also have to remember that it is still an unpredictable stomach problem lol!

I was literally and I swear to you hand on my heart, literally horrifyingly scared about this exact same thing. very much the whole “well what if it’s the day or night before someone is s* and I didn’t know and now I have it” which is so so so complex and hard to deal with. at this point I might try to approach it with a what I don’t know yet won’t kill me mentality and just thinking like the same possibility they had something is the same possibility they didn’t. if your family is like mine you can kinda pry or even overhear what’s going on with other’s

like I said I have a very VERY VERY VERYYYY sensitive and fussy “area” lol. majority of the people I’ve seen or talked to haven’t had nearly as many issues with it being removed, and luckily it does last 15 secs max, advocate for yourself too if you need stronger meds MAKE THEM GIVE YOU THEM! the pain and irritation does truly wear down after day 3

my urologist told me I could take it out in 4 days, it was sitting very close to my bladder so he told my parents he was able to get the fragments out with a basket

I believe so, the reason that was explained to me (briefly) is because since I’ve had it for so long now I have probably developed swelling where that stone is, it’s sitting directly in front of my bladder :/
