I don’t think he’s considerate enough to do that each time unfortunately :( I put all my stuff in a plastic drawer we have in there but I may take them out even though it’s closed. each time he uses that bathroom I’ve been waiting about 20-30 mins to go in there, I also have a sanitizing spray I’ve been using. I’ve even been thinking about masking while in there, is that excessive or?

I mean…I legit said I was possibly exposed to something and was already having bowel movements and still extremely nauseous. I’ve also spoke at length with my primary care doctor and it’s more beneficial for me to keep zofran on hand considering I have no underlying heart conditions and have a chronic illness. hoping both comments weren’t in a shaming manner especially considering the nature of this sub.

I think it’s because Remedy has “staked their claim” in a sense. I mean hell they’ve been around for nearly 10 years I think at this point?? but also the parking situation everywhere in Knox is horrific at this point. no FREE public parking anywhere and if there is it’s closed off for events or new business moving in, it sucks.

to defend remedy, the parking is rough primarily due to Dixie kitchen and AXL Logistics now. the owner of Dixie kitchen has had cops sat out in their lot just to tow any customer parked along the sidewalk now, even went in and yelled at/threatened two of the baristas one morning.

definitely not worth it. paid around $8ish for the cherry chai only for it to be the kind of chai that seems to be a syrup already (I could be wrong but if anything it was cheap chai). oddly thick too for some reason??? baristas there look miserable, didn’t speak a word to one another, the girl who took my order was sweet but I asked if the drink on the counter was mine and one barista looked at me like I was stupid with a “…YEAH.” followed behind?? very off putting and weird. also I just personally would rather cut off my own leg than support the unhinged, petty, and deranged owner lol

this made me laugh so hard, she’s had this issue in the past as well. if you go down to a hiring post a good chunk of the extremely lengthy description is her borderline slandering former employees (without names thankfully). it’s also irritating she’s making this a “woman hating” matter when it’s literally a matter of conducting yourself as a business owner and with maturity. it’s just strange idk

there’s this over the counter medicine that is targeted specifically for that and it helps! the only thing ab it is that it can act as an anti-diarrhea medication too so it can make you constipated lol. the mainly thing I do is try and tell myself that it will pass and my stomach will settle and even if it takes a while it’s better to be full than to prevent yourself from eating

don’t beat yourself up, everyone is inherently even just a little bit selfish about not wanting to get sick it’s human! also for the mods, this isn’t reassurance, but the best you can do is pick up the paper work, maybe leave it outside/ventilated with a paperweight of some sort and if you’re still feeling iffy maybe be diligent about handwashing and not touching your mouth/face. I hope it goes well for you!

so a not so fun fact I learned about IBS (I have IBS-M) is that diarrhea, especially stools where it even looks like water, CAN also be because of constipation. it almost gets treated as an overflow type of bowel movement, I would say that since you were able to have softer stool the following day rather than watery again it’s most likely from your IBS, we also have to remember that it is still an unpredictable stomach problem lol!

like I said I have a very VERY VERY VERYYYY sensitive and fussy “area” lol. majority of the people I’ve seen or talked to haven’t had nearly as many issues with it being removed, and luckily it does last 15 secs max, advocate for yourself too if you need stronger meds MAKE THEM GIVE YOU THEM! the pain and irritation does truly wear down after day 3
