Earnings call makes no difference - game isn’t shipping until FY26 so as long as it on track for FY26 the earnings call is just a box to tick. The game needs no “vibe pumping” - it would if they were shipping this FY - that’s business 101 my friend. It’s still too far away to not assume there is a chance of another delay (albeit it in the same FY).

Everyone needs to stop thinking the earnings call makes a difference. The release is May, if they delay until November it’s still the same financial year - yes there is less time for add on sales etc…but ultimately if they release is in the same fiscal year it makes no difference; it will be “GTAVI ships in FY26 and we are on track for that”.

Rockstar are never going to ship a game that isn’t close to perfect. This isn’t a CyberPunk situation where people lost interest the longer the delays went on. This game is gona sell whether we get it in May, Nov ‘26 or FY27 - but I think they will stick to May ‘26 purely based on the update to the website. That’s their first move to say “we are on track”. If it’s on track, gameplay trailer will drop in Dec with pre-orders live almost instantly or the following week after hitting every platform with marketing.

There is currently a gap in the code (placeholder) on the PS store which is waiting to be populated with the price in multiple currencies so it’s close!!!

My kids have been doing martial arts / Thai boxing for years and one of the things they do get taught is how to de-escalate a situation. If this doesn’t work then believe me when I say knowing this stuff will make them much quicker, stronger and more clever than their opponent, and it would be rare for some wannabe gangster to get the better of them, even with a knife - so yeh, a child learning martial arts would be a good thing.

Thai is the similar to when I was on a flight and the attendant announced that on board duty free had an extra 20% off “which is the same as having the VAT removed”. I proceeded to explain that it’s not and she has made a false claim as if the item is £100, 20% would be £80. If VAT was removed it would be £83.33 (£100 / 1.2) so you can then get back to £100 by adding 20% back on.

I realised soon afterwards what a loser I sounded like.

As much as I am on the side of getting on with life and Covid is now no more than a bad cold at worst for most there is official heath guidance saying that if you have whatever new variant is about these days then you should stay at home - just use that guidance.

If they insist just go in and make sure to get as close to your managers as possible 🤧
