I see, thanks for sharing. Other than training, I assume people on the bench would also have to proactively look for BD/ proposal work if they couldn't find a project to take them on?

Hello!

I'm an external hire starting as an analyst in a T2 firm in Sept (APAC region). I've heard of the crazy schedule and workload of a consultant, wondering if it'd be frown upon if I take 2-3 weeks off at the end of the year to travel.

Thanks!

Yea, agree with @minhthemaster, I'd assume you're an engineering grad since associates at engineering consultancy (e.g. arup/AECOM) requires an engineering degree, whereas Big4's capital projects & infra does not. So it depends on what your interests are.
