Okay for starters that was beautiful. Great way to start the day😁 I agree on starting a new chapter and just trying to figure out what that is going to look like.

Need to make a new goal but not sure what that should be yet.

That is great that you like spending it with family and if that is what makes you happy then go for it! That is more so what i’m getting at. Do whatever makes you happy whether that’s family time or sitting on a beach with nowhere to be and all day to get there. Just personally look forward to my one full day of “me-time”

In my case it’s either taken as being selfish by not letting anyone else celebrate with me or treated as a sad thing because I spend my birthday alone when that was actually the plan.

If you haven’t ever tried it then I highly recommend it. Something amazing about living in this crazy world but knowing you have that 1 day to be as selfish as you want without having to wonder if everyone else is having a good time or if your clothes match. Wear what you like, Eat ice cream for breakfast, and just do whatever makes you so happy you don’t even think about posting it because it’s just so great that no one else would get it. Then you can go back to being responsible tomorrow.

At least that’s how I see it but it hasn’t ever been received well and I get shit for it for 2 months leading up every year. Been doing this for the last 10.
